The grind never stops in “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0," with this week’s series of LigTask challenges really testing the housemates' strategy as teams, as shown in the November 21 episode.

Before diving into the second challenge, the boys gathered for a hearty breakfast to recharge. Housemate Miguel Vergara was feeling especially proud of the sandwich he whipped up, so he tried to offer a bite to Eliza Borromeo. But Eliza declined despite his adorable convincing. Aww.

Rave Victoria picked up on the awkward exchange and jestingly reacted, “Hindi niya deserve si Miguelito. Sino ba gusto niya, si Mimi o si Mama?” Ang gulo, ah,” hinting at Eliza’s confused feelings toward Miguel and Marco Masa.

While Miguel seemed ready to step back from his “fight” for Eliza, the rest of the housemates weren’t backing down for Kuya's tasks anytime soon. The three teams came into the second LigTask Challenge with the determination to win it together, no matter what.

For the second LigTask, each member of the group had to roll a wheel using a stick and guide it through a hole without crossing the line. Each team was given six holes—three “easy” ones with wider openings and three “hard” ones that were much narrower. They had the freedom to assign which hole each member would take on and could switch up roles at any time, but once a housemate successfully got the wheel through a hole, they were no longer allowed to play again. The team with the most wheels successfully passed through the targets within Big Brother’s time limit would win the round.

All three groups opened the challenge by sending in their heavy-hitters first. Rave took the first turn for Team Smiling Angels, Anton Vinzon stepped up for the Determined Warriors, and Iñigo Jose led the charge for the Strong-willed Fighters, ready to test the waters and pave the way for the rest.

The first three players struggled at the start, but those early rounds gave the teams a chance to observe and adjust. For Team Smiling Angels, John Clifford’s advice to focus on the hole first before guiding the wheel made all the difference for the group's rhythm. Applying Clifford's tip, Caprice Cayetano nailed it right away, and the same strategy gave Lella Ford the confidence to finish her turn despite a rough start.

With all five members successfully completing their turns, the Smiling Angels clinched the win in the second LigTask.

With the Smiling Angels wrapping up their round with a clean sweep, it was down to the Determined Warriors, led by Eliza, and the Strong-willed Fighters, headed by Princess Aliyah, to go head-to-head for the second rank.

The battle was intense, with both teams throwing in last-minute plays. In the final ten seconds, Eliza managed to land her team’s last wheel, raising her groupmates' hopes. But when the final scores were revealed, the Strong-willed Fighters edged them out with 4 points against the Warriors’ 3.

They may not have taken the win, but the Determined Warriors were still proud of one another as they chose to celebrate the work they put in rather than dwell on the loss. After the second LigTask, the scoreboard showed them still at the bottom with 4 points, the Strong-willed Fighters dropping to second with 9, and the Smiling Angels extending their lead with a total of 11 points.

After the results of the second LigTask were announced, Princess Aliyah, leader of the second-placer team Strong-willed Fighters, made sure to congratulate the winning team, Smiling Angels. But once she stepped into the girls’ room, the emotions she had been holding back started to pour out.

Later in the confession room, she told Big Brother how happy she was for the winning group, but at the same time, her heart felt heavy thinking about what might happen to her team moving forward. But all it took was a quick pep talk from Kuya to revive her motivation.

Over at the Determined Warriors’ side, Eliza also found herself getting emotional as she opened up to her teammates and close friends Carmelle Collado and Krystal Mejes, admitting that she was worried about how their group’s performance might affect the rest of the members, but the girls reminded her that she shouldn’t carry the blame.

A little later, Eliza found herself talking to someone who’s always had her back—Miguel, who reassured her that he'd be proud of her no matter what happens and that he truly believes she has what it takes to lead.

The heart-to-heart turned a little more personal, though, with Miguel asking if she still wanted him to keep trying and keep showing up for her, because from where he stood, it felt like she had already shut the door on whatever connection they once had, and to that, Eliza replied, "Paulit-ulit ka lang kumatok."

"I thought you really wanted me to fight for you," Miguel said, to which Eliza answered, "Siyempre naman, oo."

The episode wrapped up with big smiles from the Smiling Angels, but will they still be smiling by the time the third and final LigTask rolls in? And get ready for Belle Mariano’s entrance as Kuya’s newest houseguest.
