Although she had the chance to run away and completely escape from the Quiapo police, Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) chose to courageously face Ponggay (Maris Racal) and her buddy, Chona (Via Antonio). Fatima was able to easily knock Chona down, while she had a hard time doing so with Ponggay, who was as fierce as her.
A nail-biting fisticuff and knife fight ensued between them, as neither of them was willing to surrender. Fatima showed defiance and dexterity as she attacked Ponggay with various kinds of knives, while the latter displayed agility and persistence as she parried every attempt of the former to strike her.
Despite being a tad smaller than Ponggay, Fatima managed to pin her on the ground. However, Ponggay was so strong that she was able to stop Fatima from completely stabbing her with a knife despite being the one at the bottom.
