After his tête-à-tête with Roberto (Albert Martinez), Rigor (John Estrada) was then visited by his best friend-cum-colleague, Mando (Allan Paule), at his new office for a little catch-up.
Mando couldn’t help but notice how gloomy he was, which prompted Rigor to relay to him that Roberto (Albert Martinez) granted his request for Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) to be emancipated, but there’s a catch—they would use him as bait to take hold of Tanggol (Coco Martin). This completely appalled Mando, telling him that Marites’ life will be put in danger once a crossfire transpires between the police and the group of Tanggol.
Rigor argued that although he knew that it may happen, he couldn’t say “no” to Roberto since his hands were already tied since it was him who had placed him in his current position. Just when we thought that he was promoted due to his contributions and dedication to public service, he realized that it was Roberto who took care of it for his and his family’s own gains.
Mando was obviously disappointed upon learning this, more so when Rigor conveyed his zeal to catch Tanggol at the expense of Marites. But Rigor argued that he needed to accomplish the mission entrusted to him by Roberto of seizing Tanggol and Ramon (Christopher de Leon) so that they wouldn’t have to use Marites.
This made Mando ask Rigor how certain he was that it would be their last mission for them, reminding him that since it’s Roberto who pushed for his promotion, he would be forever indebted and tied to the Guerreros.
Refusing to take the advice of Mando, Rigor decided that he would not let Marites find out about his mission against Tanggol.
