“Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” may have just started, but some of the housemates have already caught our attention not only because of their striking beauty and charm, but also because of the stories they have already shared.
One of them is Star Magic up-and-coming artist Eliza Borromeo, who probably shocked avid viewers when she opened up about her special friendship with fellow Kapamilya young talent and “What Lies Beneath” co-actor Miguel Vergara during one of her heart-to-heart conversations with Krystal Mejes, who’s also part of the said primetime series.

The female housemates eventually got wind of it, so they began to tease her with him, especially when Big Brother paired them up with one another in the “Kalo-Clown Halloween Task.” In this challenge, the audience witnessed how both of them faced and conquered their mutual fear of their spooky and mischievous visitor.

Born Angelica Rose S. Santos, “Ang Determinadong Dilag ng Cavite” is the third of four siblings. She just turned 18 last July and graduated last April from senior high school at the Holy Rosary Academy of Las Piñas City with high honors under the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand.
Comedian-actor Eric Nicolas discovered her at a mall. A few days later, she attended a go-see at ABS-CBN, where she met her now Star Magic manager, Luz Bagalacsa who also signed her up for singing, acting, and dancing workshops.
Eliza then auditioned for the ongoing Kapamilya teleserye “What Lies Beneath” and successfully clinched the role of young Alice Quintana, portrayed by actress Janella Salvador as an adult, which marked her acting debut and first-ever project in showbiz.
While she considers being a consistent honor student as her biggest achievement outside showbiz, she deems landing her first role in a television project as her greatest accomplishment as a budding actress.
Since her dad seemed to be often away, as he used to work as a waiter on a cruise ship, Eliza has spent more time with her mom growing up and has shared a close bond with her. Thus, making her a self-proclaimed “mama’s girl.” They were so close that it was her mom who was more excited about her becoming an artist.
With how undeniably beautiful she is, it didn’t come as a surprise to find out that she was often chosen as the class muse over the years. And she was able to unveil her majestic splendor through her appearances in the Star Magical Prom and Star Magical Christmas in 2024. It could have been easy for her to make guys fall for her undeniable beauty and brains, but the up-and-coming actress confessed that she’s an “NBSB,” or “no boyfriend since birth.”
She’s also a self-proclaimed bookworm who enjoys reading books or e-books about healing and self-improvement. She’s also a proud member of the ARMY, or the fandom of the prominent Korean pop group BTS, who does not only listen to their songs or watch their music videos and online content but collects albums and photocards, too.
Furthermore, she also ‘fessed up about being fond of watching makeup tutorial vlogs since she wants to learn how to do her own makeup.
And lastly, since she’s still a newcomer in the industry just like some of her housemates, she believes that joining “PBB” could be her big break.
