As his friends discussed whether to spend the money given to them by Enteng’s (Jojit Lorenzo) mother on their daily sustenance or on the bullets that they would use in saving Ramon (Christopher De Leon) from the Red Phoenix Group, Tanggol (Coco Martin) chimed in to express their gratitude to them for their loyalty and friendship.
Enteng reiterated to him that they would never let him fight the enemies all by himself because they are all in this together through thick and thin, and they’re willing to risk their lives for him—which Tanggol really appreciated.
Unbeknownst to them, Tanggol has already made up his mind to rescue his father from Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) and his henchmen all by himself.
