After years of waiting, Rigor (John Estrada) has finally attained it, as their police general personally relays to him the great news regarding his promotion to not just one, but two ranks. The general starts by telling him that he gets promoted to police lieutenant after passing the lateral exam he recently took, for which he’s already thankful.
However, the general doesn’t end there, as he further conveys that they are immediately promoting him to police captain following his success in leading the troop that has dismantled the Montenegro family syndicate, confiscated millions in cash and bags of drugs from their mansion, and arrested the notorious drug lord Julio Montenegro (Tommy Abuel) during their latest operation.
Just when Rigor is already overwhelmed by the good news imparted to him by their general, little does he know that he’s actually having a triple promotion that very moment, as their unexpected visitor tells him that they are also appointing him as the new chief of the Quiapo Police Station.
Hector (Aljur Abrenica), who has witnessed the entire thing that happened and even congratulated him, objects to Rigor’s ultimate promotion, arguing that he is the assigned officer-in-charge. But the general tells Hector that he is relieved of his command effective the next day and goes on to ask him to prepare a pinning ceremony for Rigor, which makes him extra bitter.
