During Ponggay’s (Maris Racal) conversation with her best friend and colleague Chona (Via Antonio), who filed the blotter report regarding the incident involving Dimples (Criza Taa), it was revealed that the body bag containing Dimples was found by a scavenger at the river shore.
After several attempts to open her stepsister’s phone, which they recovered along with her unconscious and battered body, Ponggay was able to finally access it, hoping to find any evidence that could point them to the culprit.
And they indeed found a possible lead on her online messaging app, in which her last conversation was with someone whose username is “MidnightMonster”. They were indeed shocked to find out that Dimples sold herself to that person in exchange for P20,000.
Ponggay got further heartbroken upon realizing the dark secret of her stepsister—that she hustles as a prostitute, as attested by the conversations of Dimples with other guys who wished to hire her to satisfy their sexual hunger.
As Chona suggested that they must tip their colleagues about it, Ponggay asked her to not do it since, aside from wanting to catch the criminal herself, she also doesn’t want other people to find out about it because she is certain that Dimples is going to be the talk of the town once that happens.
