The morning after Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) and Erika (Gillian Vicencio) departed from their house, Rigor (John Estrada) indeed felt the void that they left. Besides, he even had a sudden “relapse” upon seeing his and Marites’ (Cherry Pie Picache) wedding bands kept inside the dresser found in the room they used to share.
And his best friend-slash-colleague Mando (Allan Paule) noticed how apparently sad he was despite learning from him that he passed the lateral exam, which made him a step closer to getting promoted. As Mando mentioned that he had been that way ever since Roberto (Albert Martinez) came into his life, Rigor asserted that he climbed ranks because of his own efforts.
Although he knew it, Mando told him that he was just concerned about his debt of gratitude to the Guerreros going deeper, especially now that the favors they’ve been asking him to do are getting harder. He didn’t want the day to come when he couldn’t say no to them anymore.
Rigor implied that he had nothing to worry about since his duty as a cop will always matter most to him, so nobody can tell him what he must do or not do.
