MANILA — Filipino singer and "The Voice US" champion Sofronio Vasquez released two new singles, “Nandito Lang” and “Patient,” on Friday, August 22, under ABS-CBN’s Star Music.
Both tracks are now available on major streaming platforms, with lyric videos uploaded on Star Music’s official YouTube channel.
In its post, Star Music described the songs as: "One song embodies acceptance, while another expresses sincere patience in love."
"Patient" was composed by Dana Balagtas, while "Nandito Lang" was composed by Jeremy G. Both songs were produced by Jonathan Manalo.
Last December, Sofronio made history as the first Asian to win "The Voice USA" after receiving most number of votes.

He first rose to fame as one of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" contenders on "It's Showtime," where he reached the semifinals.
