MANILA -- OPM singer and former "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition" housemate Klarisse de Guzman has been tapped to record the original theme song for the upcoming series "The Alibi."
Star Music made the announcement via a social media post on Monday, July 28, as it uploaded a photo of de Guzman and composer Jonathan Manalo.
"Klarisse De Guzman brings her powerhouse vocals to an original theme song for Dreamscape’s upcoming series The Alibi — with the musical genius of Jonathan Manalo behind the track!" the post read.
It was just last month when ABS-CBN's Dreamscape Entertainment announced that the Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are set to star again in "The Alibi."
"The Alibi," written by Danica Mae Domingo and will be directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, marks the fourth collaboration of Avelino and Chiu.
The two first worked together in the hit series "Linlang" which was released in 2023 on Prime Video before it was aired on free TV in early 2024. After "Linlang," Chiu and Avelino starred in "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim," the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean drama.
After doing two series together, they paired up in their first movie project "My Love Will Make You Disappear," which was released in cinemas last March.
Meanwhile, de Guzman is gearing up for her upcoming concert "The Big Night" happening at the Araneta Coliseum on September 26.
