HandoutFast rising P-pop group BILIB, composed of Yuki, Zio, Jmac, RC, Clyde, Carlo, and Rafael, and P-pop soloist Zéla, both signed to AQ Prime Music, expressed gratitude and excitement after their music video for "Gimme The Music" surpassed 1 million views on YouTube just days after its official release.

“We're extremely appreciative for the support of P-pop fans. We believe that the song's popularity stems from its ability to be danceable and catchy. They also get to watch how the enticing visuals are put together, including an appearance by award-winning actor Mon Confiado,” BILIB told ABS-CBN News.

With RS Francisco as creative director, Hazel Faith D. Santos, Renzo Zio Dela Paz, Rafael Mumar, and Krizel Jane Lockhart as composers-writers, Caleb Santos as sound producer, and Aldwin Alegre and Mary Melanie Quiño as executive producers, the music video highlighted BILIB and Zéla's variety in performance, with scenes in a simple workplace transformed into a colorful, party atmosphere that showcased their acting abilities.

Confiado played the boss in the concept, reflecting how the industry seeks new flavor and how music can interrupt even the most ordinary day.

“We were so nervous because there were so many processes involved when we were planning this. Now that we’ve watched the music video, I’m honestly a little speechless. Everything we worked hard for from day one — the trainings, the creative process, and all the people who helped us — made this night possible,” said Yuki, BILIB’s group leader.

Describing how surreal the project felt while they were working on it, Jmac shared, “Back then, it didn’t really sink in that this is what we were doing; we were just working and working and working. Even now, after seeing the finished music video, my heart is so happy because this is the result of all the hard work we poured into it over the past few months.”

Clyde recounted how the group persevered through fatigue while filming, saying, “We shot from 4 a.m. until 6 a.m. the next day before we finished. I’m so, so proud of my members.”

Working with the group helped Zéla, who has a solo history, develop as an artist in a fresh way.

“Since I'm a soloist, working in a group for the first time was a little challenging at first. They taught me so much. During training, we always support one another. Our friendship truly grew closer,” she expressed.

"Gimme The Music" is available on Spotify and other digital music platforms, with a music video on YouTube.
