BINI, Ben&Ben, SB19, Dionela, Cup of Joe, Lola Amour Lead the Big Wins at the 38th Awit Awards

OPM artists, including BINI, Ben&Ben, SB19, Dionela, dominate the 38th Awit Awards on November 16. Several OPM artists were also recognized for their contribution to the Filipino music scene.

OPM’s brightest stars took center stage at the 38th Awit Awards powered by Vibe on November 16, Sunday, at the Meralco Theatre. Standout artists and chart-topping tracks emerged as the night’s biggest winners. Dominating the ceremony were BINI, SB19, Ben&Ben, Dionela, Cup of Joe, and Lola Amour, each earning major recognition for their work that defined Filipino music throughout the year.

BINI continued their powerhouse run as they collected multiple trophies across both fan-voted and juried categories. The Nation’s Girl Group was hailed as People’s Voice Favorite Group Artist, with their album Talaarawan winning People’s Voice Favorite Album of the Year. Their hit “Salamin, Salamin” secured Best Dance/Electronic Recording, while their ever-supportive fandom, Blooms, proudly clinched the Vibe Stan Award. They also won the Most Streamed Artist award, underscoring the group’s strong cultural impact and loyal following.

Ben&Ben achieved one of the night’s most prestigious victories as their album The Traveller Across Dimensions was awarded Album of the Year. They also won Best Performance by a Group for their empowering track “Triumph.”

“Huwag kayong matakot na i-express yung tunay na sarili niyo. Someone will listen and your music will be bound to reach who it's meant to connect to.” said Ben&Ben lead vocalist, Paolo Benjamin.

SB19 also swept several major honors, proving their continued dominance in both local and global spaces. Their collaboration with Terry Zhong, “Moonlight,” earned Best Global Collaboration Recording, while “Simulan na Natin” with Gloc-9 won Best Rap/Hip-Hop Recording. The group further picked up awards for “Kalakal”, having won Best Cover Art made by Louis Duran and IC Forbes and Best Music Video produced by 1032 Lab, lana Cris Forbes, and directed by Alanshiii, XY Pintoy.

Individually, members also shone: Stell was named People’s Voice Breakthrough Artist and Favorite New Solo Artist for his song “Room”, Felip earned Favorite Solo Artist, and Justin won Favorite Music Video of the Year for his track “Surreal”.

R&B standout Dionela emerged as one of the ceremony’s most celebrated solo artists, winning Solo Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best R&B Recording for “Sining” with Jay-R, further proving his genre-defining presence.

“God is faithful. Thank you so much,” said Dionela during his acceptance speech.

Cup of Joe also made a milestone mark as their viral hit “Misteryoso” was declared Song of the Year, one of the night’s top honors.

Lola Amour continued their hit-making streak as “Namimiss Ko Na” took home both Record of the Year and Best Alternative Recording, cementing the band’s place as one of the most compelling storytellers in OPM today.
Kapamilya artists also delivered strong wins across categories: Moira and Juan Karlos earned Best Ballad Recording, Juan Karlos and Kyle Echarri with Noel Cabangon won Regional Recording for “Kasing Kasing,” Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez took home Original Soundtrack Recording for “Ulit Ulit” from Pamilya Sagrado, and Maki won Best Pop Recording for his hit “Dilaw.”
