Taylor Swift fans flocked to Vancouver, British Columbia, on Friday (December 6) as the final leg of her record-breaking The Eras Tour kicks off.
Fans from around the globe were seen posing with the "Swiftcouver" art installation, exchanging friendship bracelets, and eagerly lining up at merchandise stores.
Concertgoers were filled with excitement and anticipation, with many traveling long distances to be part of the tour's grand finale. Among them was Gabriela Alcala, a Mexican Taylor Swift fan who journeyed to Vancouver in hopes of securing tickets for one of the final concerts.
"I want to go to the last shows of the Eras Tour cause I'm the biggest fan. I've been a fan since I was, I think, ten; right now, I'm 30, so, a lot of my life," Alcala shared.
Hundreds of attendees embraced the occasion by dressing to represent one of Taylor Swift’s eras. Vancouver local Cassie Leonheardt channeled the 'Lover' era at Friday's concert, while others took a more creative approach. Tiffany Law and Emily Feng, also from Vancouver, stood out by dressing as friendship bracelets.
Swift, 34, has been setting music industry milestones and boosting local economies with The Eras Tour, with the last leg of the concert happening in Canada currently, a phenomenon that some economists have termed "Swiftflation."
Swift released her latest Tortured Poets album in May during Target's first quarter, boosting its sales in its entertainment category by a high-single-digit percentage.
