After making history as the first Asian to win "The Voice USA," Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez is coming back to the Philippines.
Vasquez announced his plans to return to his home country on Friday afternoon, December 27 (Manila time) via a social media post.
"Coming home to 🇵🇭 very soon. Takits!" Vasquez wrote on his Facebook page.

Vasquez, the 32-year-old singer from Team Michael Bublé, won "The Voice USA" last December 11 \after receiving most number of votes.

During the final round of "The Voice," Vasquez performed "Unstoppable" by Sia and "A Million Dreams" from "The Greatest Showman."

He first rose to fame as one of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" contenders on "It's Showtime," where he reached the semifinals.
