Following the conclusion and the phenomenal success of the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift rewarded her team and staff with $197 million or ₱11.43 billion worth of bonuses on top of their salaries.
According to a report by PEOPLE, among those who received bonuses were her truck drivers; production staff and assistants; dancers; band; caterers; security; choreographers; hair, makeup, wardrobe, and video teams; and many others.
This is not the first time that Taylor showcased her generosity towards her team.
Back in 2023, PEOPLE reported that Taylor gave out a total of $55 million of bonuses or around ₱3.03 billion to her entire staff and crew following the conclusion of the first US leg of the tour.
Taylor kicked off the Eras Tour in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona. The singer staged the final leg of the show in Vancouver on December 8.
By the end of the tour, the global pop star performed in a total of 149 shows across different cities in the world.
The singer performed for more than three hours in each show, featuring tracks from the different eras of her career including "Cruel Summer," "August," "Love Story," "Look What You Made Me Do," "Delicate," "You Belong With Me," "Lavender Haze," and "Anti-Hero," among others.
It was in June during her 100th show in Liverpool when Taylor confirmed that the Eras Tour will be concluding in December.
"It feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour," she said when she confirmed the tour's conclusion in a speech back in June.
She went on: "It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore. Because all I do when I’m not on stage is like sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear. So when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys."
Taylor then thanked her fans who supported the show.
"You have done so much to be with us. You’ve made plans so far in advance. You planned what you were gonna wear, you memorized lyrics, you got yourselves here, you figured out parking, you figured out transportation. … And just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us, (as) this tour reaches triple digits of shows," she stated.
