The cast of Kapamilya series Roja took to social media to express their gratitude as they wrapped up filming, reflecting on the bonds they formed throughout the production.
Actress Janice de Belen shared that she felt “sepanx” as months of lock-in shoots came to an end.
“THIS SEPANX IS REAL!!! LOCK-IN SHOOTS CREATE UNEXPECTED BONDS, YOU BECOME EACH OTHERS SAFE SPACE, YOU SEE EACH OTHER AT YOUR BEST AND YOUR WORST MOMENTS,” Janice wrote, alongside a photo compilation of the cast from filming days to their wrap party.
She also reminisced about their offcamera moments, including late-night swimming, boat rides, game nights, pickleball games, and perya trips.
“SO MUCH LAUGHTER, SOMETIMES TEARS, BUT DEFINITELY SO MUCH LOVE ❤️ IT WAS A RIDE THAT I WILL ALWAYS HOLD IN MY HEART… I WILL MISS YOU ALL ROJA FAM! LOVE YOU GUYS ❤️,” she added
Former Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 housemate Kai Montinola also expressed her gratitude for being part of the series, which marked her first official television project.
“in another universe, the waves of La Playa Roja carry no sorrow ❤️🩹 love, ice baby! Xoxo forever grateful to have been part of this family. I felt deeply, learned endlessly, and grew in ways I never expected,” Kai wrote in a post.
Meanwhile, actress Yassi Pressman thanked the cast, crew, and viewers who supported the show from start to finish.
“sa aming mga huling araw ng taping para sa ROJA, with a soft heart, gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng taong naging parte ng palabas na ito sa harap at likod ng camera! salamat!— we got so close so fast, can’t believe it’s done naaa (wish we had more photos of our memories!) 😭❤️ at sa lahat ng sumuporta sa amin mula simula at hanggang sa kaabang abang na dulo! mahaba pa! walang bibitaw!” she said.

Kapamilya actress Nikki Valdez also admitted how difficult it was to say goodbye to the cast with who she formed a deep connection.
“You don't say goodbye to family. You keep and cherish them. Took awhile for me to post these because I didn't want to let goooooo... 😭 Napakahirap para sa amin na day in day out, paggising hanggang pagtulog, palaging magkakasama,” she stated.
Nikki went on: “Thank you ROJA Fam for the love and support for each other. It made our days away from home somehow light and easy. I said this before and I'll say it again. I am and will always be proud to be part of this show. ❤️ #ROJA.”
Other cast members, including Joel Torre, Robert Seña, Maika Rivera, Inka Magnaye, and Kobie Brown, also shared behind-the-scenes moments from the set.
Roja recently opened a new chapter with fresh characters portrayed by Christian Vasquez, Iana Bernardez, Jeremiah Lisbo, Joel Molina, Mac Manicad, Miggy Campbell, and Paolo Serrano.
The Kapamilya primetime series also reached a major milestone, setting a new online viewership record on January 27 with 620,186 peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live via ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
