MANILA -- ABS-CBN's "Saving Grace," the Philippine adaptation of Japan's hit drama "Mother," continues to gain international recognition as it received a nomination for Best Asian Contents at the Global OTT Awards.
The Dreamscape Entertainment-produced series starred Julia Montes, Sharon Cuneta, and child star Zia Grace. "Saving Grace," which was also aired on free TV, reached number one on Prime Video Philippines.
"Saving Grace," follows the story of Montes' lead character teacher Anna, who gets involved with the life of her student Grace (Zia Grace). Teacher Anna tries to help Grace, who is suffering from abuse by her own mother, played by Jennica Garcia. Also in the cast are Jennica Garcia, Sam Milby, Christian Bables, Janice de Belen, Elisse Joson and more.
The winners of the Global OTT Awards will be announced this coming August 24.
"Saving Grace" also earned two nominations at 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards. The 2025 Seoul International Drama's awarding ceremony will be held at the KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea on October 2.
