MANILA -- Ricardo Cepeda bid farewell to "FPJ's Batang Quiapo on Monday, almost three months after he returned to the hit series as Mr. Wu.
Cepeda's character had helped Angkong (Joonee Gamboa) in his illegal drug business.
In the 498th episode of the series, Mr. Wu was shot dead by Tanggol (Coco Martin). Aside from Mr. Wu, Jeffrey Tam's character, Roy, was also killed by Tanggol.
Cepeda was part of "Batang Quiapo" when he was arrested October 2023 for syndicated estafa. In October 2024, Cepeda returned to the series.
In a social media post, Dreamscape expressed its gratitude and bid goodbye to Cepeda and Tam's characters.

The episode garnered 621,447 peak concurrent viewers or those watching on Kapamilya Online Live at the same time.
"FPJ's Batang Quiapo" airs new episodes on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC and TFC.
