MANILA -- ABS-CBN's artists and shows were hailed winners in the first Philippine Arts, Film, and Television Awards (PAFTA).
"It's Showtime" won Best Noontime Show, "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" bagged the Best Drama Series award, and "ASAP" was named Best Variety Show.
Individual awardees, meanwhile, include "Batang Quiapo" lead star Coco Martin (Best Actor), "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis (Best Female TV Host) and Kapamilya artist Maris Racal (Breakthrough Performance Award).
The awarding ceremony will be held on February 21 at the Centennial Hall of the The Manila Hotel at 7 p.m., with the red carpet kicking off at 6 p.m.
According to its Facebook page, PAFTA is "a SEC-registered arts and cultural institution honoring excellence and individual distinction through awards, workshops, and talent programs that elevate Filipino creativity locally and internationally."
