South Korean rock band Day6 staged their highly anticipated 10th anniversary concert titled The Decade in the Philippines at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, January 24.
Presented by Live Nation Philippines, the band treated fans to a setlist that spanned the different eras of their decade-long career, performing various tracks such as "Time of Our Life," "Welcome to the Show," "Zombie," 'Love Me or Leave Me," "Congratulations," and "Disco Day," among others.
The band was all praised for the energy of the Filipino fans during the concert.
"Right now, the energy level is crazy," the band said. "Every time we come here, we receive so much energy. You guys got this great positive vibe."
Day6 also highlighted how their fans serve as their main source of inspiration. "Each and everyone of you all gathered together, you guys are the reason why we sing, the reason why we go on stage, the reason why we compose, we write lyrics, we release albums. You guys are the reason why we wanna come back," band member Young K remarked.
He added: "Seeing you guys smile, seeing you guys have a good time, singing a lot together, this is the reason why I want to continue to go on stage as often as I can."
Day6 made their debut under JYP Entertainment on September 7, 2015, with the EP The Day, which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's World Album Chart.
In 2024, they dropped their ninth EP, Band Aid, on September 2, 2024, featuring the lead single "Melt Down."
Capping off a milestone year, Day6 won their first Daesang award since debuting, taking home the Grand Performer Award at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards on December 27, 2024. They also secured Best Band and Best Song honors, further solidifying their legacy in the music scene.
In September 2025, the band released their latest studio album titled The Decade which contains ten tracks including "Dream Bus," "Inside Out," "My Way," and "Take All My Heart," among others.
Day6 won Best Band and Best Digital Song at the 2025 Golden Disc Awards.
