Globel group BTS met Hollywood actor Tom Cruise during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
On his Instagram Stories, BTS leader RM shared a photo of himself, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook posing with the Mission: Impossible star backstage at the event.

Tom delivered a pre-match address ahead of the championship game between Spain and Argentina.
"More than 30 days ago, 48 nations began a journey. They crossed oceans. They crossed borders. They crossed cultures. And together they showed us why this game belongs to the world," Tom remarked in his speech as published on FIFA's YouTube channel.
He added: "We have witnessed greatness and we have shared in moments of joy, moments of hope, moments we will all never forget."
The actor also highlighted football’s power to bring people from different backgrounds together.
"Football is a language spoken without words. A force that unites people. That turns strangers into friends and reminds us of what we all have in common," he stated.
Meanwhile, BTS took the stage during the final's halftime show and performed their worldwide hit "Dynamite." Aside from BTS, the halftime show also featured Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Burna Boy.

Released in 2020, "Dynamite" achieved massive commercial success worldwide. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving BTS their first chart-topper in the United States and making them the first all-South Korean act to lead the chart.
It also topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
The song earned BTS their first Grammy nomination after receiving a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. The achievement made BTS the first Korean act to be nominated by the Recording Academy.
BTS is currently headlining their ARIRANG World Tour, which will make a stop in the Philippines for three shows on March 13, 14, and 16, 2027.
