BTS member V has personally appealed to fans to respect his private space while the K-Pop supergroup continues its ongoing Arirang world tour, asking supporters not to follow the group to the hotels where they are staying during their travels.
The K-pop star shared the message on July 1 through Weverse moment, where the post automatically disappeared after 24 hours. In his message, V thanked fans for continuously showing support but gently asked them to stop visiting their accommodations during tour stops.
“I’m truly grateful for everyone who comes to support us, but if possible, I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t come all the way to the hotel,” he wrote.
Although he expressed appreciation for ARMYs’ enthusiasm, V explained that having fans locate their accommodations can make it difficult for him to fully prepare ahead of performances, especially as the group moves through its packed touring schedule.
The singer emphasized that privacy while traveling is especially important, sharing that the exposure of where he is staying can affect his ability to properly rest and recharge before stepping onstage.
Outside performances, V also explained that the limited downtime he gets while touring is something he values deeply, saying simple moments such as exploring cities, going out for food, or simply walking around are rare opportunities for him to enjoy personal time amid his demanding schedule.
“I hope people won’t come to the hotels anymore. I’d really appreciate your consideration,” he added.
To give fans a glimpse of how exhausted he has been, V attached a screenshot from his sleep tracker showing he had only managed to sleep for two hours and 27 minutes. The data also showed a “caution” warning on his sleep stability, with REM (rapid eye movement) sleep recorded at just 21 minutes or 14 percent, while deep sleep was measured at only 37 minutes or 25 percent.

His message comes as BigHit Music continues intensifying legal action against individuals accused of violating the privacy and safety of BTS members.
On June 29, the agency released an official statement through Weverse detailing its ongoing legal efforts against malicious online behavior and privacy-related offenses targeting the group.
“We are continuously taking legal action against illegal activities such as defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and malicious slander that infringe on BTS’s rights,” the company said, as translated by The Chosun Daily.

The label also provided an update regarding a stalking-related case involving an individual who unlawfully entered an artist’s residence and repeatedly engaged in stalking behavior.
“A bench warrant was issued for a defendant who intruded into the artists’ residence and repeatedly stalked them. The defendant was detained in a detention center for approximately 3 months while undergoing criminal trial, and the court recognized the severity of the crime, sentencing the defendant to one year in prison with a two-year suspended sentence.”
BigHit further reiterated its strict stance against anyone who violates the artists’ safety, stressing that legal action applies not only within South Korea but also to international offenders.

“We adhere to a zero-tolerance policy with no leniency toward malicious actors targeting the artists, which applies equally to both domestic and foreign individuals. If a foreigner receives criminal punishment for trespassing or stalking, they may face forced repatriation to their home country and a ban on entering South Korea.”
Currently, BTS is in the middle of the European leg of its Arirang world tour, which officially began in South Korea back in March.
Filipino ARMYs, meanwhile, are already looking forward to the group’s return as BTS is scheduled to bring the tour to the Philippine Sports Stadium for three sold-out shows on March 13, 14, and 16, 2027.
