MANILA — Television host-actress Kris Aquino turned to social media to share her birthday greeting for her eldest son Joshua, who turned 31 on Thursday.
In an Instagram post on Friday morning, June 5, Kris described Joshua as her inspiration.
The country's Queen of All Media also shared how her two sons Joshua and Bimby developed a "sixth sense" to catch her when she’s about to take a tumble.
"Happy Birthday Kuya Josh! Had i not been yours and Bimb’s mama, i wouldn’t have the courage and the purpose to continue with my treatments. The day to day pain in my joints caused by Rheumatoid Arthritis would be so unbearable except for the fact that when my legs give up and I’m about to take a tumble, you and bimb have developed this 6th sense and are there to catch me," Kris wrote.
She then expressed her gratitude to Joshua for the encouragement.
"Thank you kuya for your encouragement to get me out of bed as you lead me outside to the living room to watch our favorite shows. You’re the only one who has the power to get me moving. My wish is to one day be able to join you for your daily 7000 to 10,000 steps. You are my inspiration. I love you very much," Kris added.
Joshua is Aquino’s son with veteran actor Philip Salvador. She has another son Bimby, with ex-husband James Yap.
