Andi Eigenmann took to social media to share a heartfelt reflection as she celebrated her 36th birthday in Siargao.
On Instagram, the actress opened up about embracing another year of life, sharing that she takes pride in growing older.
"✨36!!✨ I like to joke about perpetually being 27. But actually, I do feel a sense of pride every time I get to celebrate another year of life," she posted on her Instagram page.
Andi went on to describe growing older as a gift she cherishes.
"Growing older is a privilege that I am so deeply grateful for. And to add, the wisdom that each year brings. Getting to live this simple yet full life I've yearned for with my little family will always be the best gift for me," she said.
Alongside her message, Andi shared snapshots from her intimate birthday celebration at an eco-villa in Siargao with her family. The photos showed the actress personally preparing food for the celebration as they marked the special occasion together.
Friends and fans online were quick to extend their birthday greetings to Andi.
"Happy birthday dear!!!😘🥳❣️🙏 God’s abundant blessings and grace to you and the fam🥰," actress Cherry Pie Picache commented.
"Happy birthday @andieigengirl 🎁🎊🎂🎉 continue being an inspiration!" one fan commented.
Andi moved to Siargao in 2017.
She is engaged to surfing champion Philmar Alipayo, with whom she shares two children, Lilo and Koa. Her daughter with former partner Jake Ejercito, Ellie, also lives with them on the island.
In a social media post in July 2023, Andi shared that one of the most rewarding aspects of raising her children in Siargao is seeing them spend time outdoors.
"I know this varies for each parent, but I get that fulfilling feeling when all three of my kids initiate a good amount of time outdoors to play, or simply just to be outside," she posted on her Instagram page at that time.
The actress said that growing up, nature played a significant role in her life, and she hopes her children will develop the same connection with the outdoors.
"Nature and being outdoors has been a big part of me since I was little, and it's healed me in so many ways. They deserve that too," she said. "When I had this thought, I decided to take videos and give you a glimpse of all the endless ideas children can come up with to entertain themselves while surrounded with nature."
