Taylor Swift is now the richest female musician in history according to Forbes.
The publication recently released its Iconoclast 50 list, which "recognizes leaders in finance, business, technology, media, entertainment and philanthropy that are changing the game in real time, disrupting their industries and challenging the status quo."
On the list, Forbes estimated Taylor's net worth at $2 billion or approximately ₱122 billion as of March 2026, which makes her the richest female musician in history.
In its feature, the magazine described Taylor as one of the "most commercially successful songwriters of all time," noting that her re-recorded albums and the Eras Tour significantly contributed to her net worth.
In December 2024, Taylor made history when her Eras Tour became the first concert tour ever to surpass $2 billion in gross revenue.
According to a past report by Variety, the global tour sold an impressive 10,168,008 tickets and earned a staggering $2.077 billion across 149 shows in 51 cities spanning 21 countries.
At each stop, Taylor treated fans to more than three hours of performances, featuring songs from every era of her career. The setlist included beloved hits such as "Cruel Summer," "August," "Love Story," "Look What You Made Me Do," "Delicate," "You Belong With Me," "Lavender Haze," and "Anti-Hero," among many others.
The Grammy-winning artist wrapped up the record-breaking tour in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8, 2024.
In October 2025, Taylor released her latest album The Life of a Showgirl, which sold more than 4 million copies in its first week, setting a new record for the biggest debut week in music history.
Billboard reported, citing Luminate, that The Life of a Showgirl opened with 4.002 million equivalent album units. This total included 3.479 million pure album sales from physical and digital formats, along with 522,600 streaming-equivalent album units, representing 680.9 million on-demand official streams of the album's songs.
To celebrate the album surpassing 4 million album sales, Taylor expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the album.
"I have 4 million thank yous I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was. Thank you for going out to celebrate this project in the movie theaters, investing in vinyl, streaming, watching the video, buying CDs, reading the poems I wrote inside the packaging, and immersing yourselves in The Life of a Showgirl. I’ll cherish this feeling forever. Just wow. Thank you for the lovely bouquet 💐," she posted on her Instagram page at that time.
