Through their fandom statement, Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad confirmed the end of her love team partnership with actor and fellow Pinoy Big Brother alum KD Estrada.
On her social media pages, Alexa expressed gratitude to fans who supported their pairing as she reposted a statement from their fandom, KDLex International Sweethearts.
“I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know. I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared together,” Alexa wrote.
She added that she would continue to appreciate their supporters even as she and KD pursue their individual paths.
“And no matter who you choose to support, as long as RESPECT REMAINS, I will continue to love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for all the love, unwavering support, and kindness you have given me and KD. We will always carry that in our hearts. 🤍,” she expressed.
On Tuesday, May 12, KDLex International Sweethearts released a statement announcing that the pair had decided to part ways as a love team.
“After many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding, KDLex decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them. Though their journey as a pairing has come to an end, the respect, care, and friendship between them remain,” they wrote.
The fandom reflected on the journey KD and Alexa shared, saying their bond had brought joy and unforgettable memories to their supporters: “What KDLex shared was genuine, and the happiness and memories they gave to all of us will always be cherished. As fans, we will forever treasure the journey we shared together.”
They thanked fellow fans who supported KD and Alexa on their journey.
“To all the Sweethearts, thank you. Thank you for every moment of love, support, laughter, edits, trends, prayers, patience, and understanding you gave them through the years. They are deeply grateful for all of you and will always carry that love with them wherever life takes them,” they expressed.
“We hope we can continue to give them the same kindness and support as they move forward individually. Thank you for loving them so sincerely.”
Although KD has yet to release a personal statement as of this writing, he also reposted the same announcement on his official Instagram page.
KD and Alexa’s pairing first blossomed during their time as housemates in Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10. Following their stint on the show, the two worked on several projects together and built a strong fan following.
Speculation about a possible falling-out between the pair surfaced last year after theywere rarely seen together in public. However, KD dismissed the rumors during an interview, clarifying that their bond remained intact despite their having made fewer public appearances.
“I don’t know where it came from. Maybe kasi wala kaming work together. I understand there are other artists. But we are good behind the camera. We don’t have to show anything,” he said.

He further emphasized that both he and Alexa were focused on growing individually while continuing to support one another.
However, the speculation resurfaced after KD was linked to his Bagets: The Musical castmate Mia Bella, which the actor firmly denied.
“Wag kayong magsalita na para bang alam niyo ang buhay namin dahil wala naman kayong alam talaga. Higit pa kayo sa mga writer na gumagawa ng mga kuwento. Sso classless at chaka,” he said.
He also defended Alexa after some of his alleged "fans" reportedly disrespected the actress.
“Again, hindi ko itotolerate KAHIT SINO man yan. kung sino makakabasa neto, alahanin kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng boundaries. Pati ako may limits. Fan o hindi. Para sa lahat ng mga naghahate-speech diyan, lalo na sa mga nagha-harass sa mga taong mahal ko. This is your warning,” he emphasized.
