KD Estrada did not mince his words as he clapped back at a netizen who attempted to spark drama by implying that he was replacing his partner, Alexa Ilacad, after being seen in a livestream with his Bagets The Musical castmate, Mia Bella.
Earlier this month, an anonymous netizen took to X to share a screenshot from Mia’s TikTok livestream, where the actress was interacting with her followers while seated beside KD in the same room. What appeared to be a casual behind-the-scenes moment quickly turned controversial when the netizen tagged both KD and Alexa and insinuated that Mia was a “replacement” for Alexa, who is half of the popular KDLex love team.

“Ito na pala bago ni @kdestrada_?? @alexailacad kawawang alx 💔,” the netizen wrote.
Refusing to let the narrative spiral, KD directly addressed the post in its comment section on February 6, questioning why a simple interaction with a theater castmate was being twisted into an issue.
“Nag-livestream lang ang castmate ko sa Bagets and tinutok niya lang yung camera sa'kin? ano ang issue?” he wrote.

He went on to call out the behavior as disrespectful, stressing that strangers online have no right to fabricate stories about their personal life.
“Wag kayong magsalita na para bang alam niyo ang buhay namin dahil wala naman kayong alam talaga. higit pa kayo sa mga writer na gumagawa ng mga kwento. so classless at chaka,” he added.

The exchange did not end there as another netizen replied by pointing out that some members of KD’s fandom, known as Kaydets, have also thrown negative remarks at Alexa, urging him to speak up about that as well.
“Gawain din naman iyan ng kaydets mo kay Alexa mas malala pa nga naransan nya sana mapagsabihan mo rin. nandiyan magbasa ka diyan kung gaano kabastos yung solids mo lalo na yung romcom.”
KD responded firmly, making it clear that he does not tolerate any form of online harassment, regardless of who it comes from.
“Again, hindi ko itotolerate KAHIT SINO man yan. kung sino makakabasa neto, alahanin kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng boundaries. pati ako may limits. fan o hindi.”
“Para sa lahat ng mga naghahate-speech diyan, lalo na sa mga nagha-harass sa mga taong mahal ko. this is your warning,” KD emphasized.

Following his statements, fans of KD and Alexa flooded social media with messages of support, praising him for standing his ground while remaining composed.
“Don't mind them, KD! No need to explain sa mga ganyan ka babaw na mga basher. Walang magawa sa buhay nila yan kaya buhay ng iba pinapakialaman,” one wrote.
“I’ll be here for you and Alexa no matter what they say, hayaan mo yang mga mahilig gumawa ng issue, they’re not happy with their lives,” another added.
The incident comes months after KD and Alexa also found themselves addressing online rumors about their relationship. Back in November, KD dismissed speculation that they had a falling out, explaining that their bond remains strong even when they are not working together publicly.
“I don’t know where it came from. Maybe kasi wala kaming work together. I understand there are other artists. But we are good behind the camera. We don’t have to show anything,” he said during an interview after a press conference for an upcoming stage musical. “It does not always have to be in front of people. Hindi porke’t ‘di kami nakikita, wala na. May mga chismosa again.”

He further emphasized that both he and Alexa are focused on their individual growth, with KD currently portraying Arnel in Bagets The Musical and Alexa appearing weekly on Your Face Sounds Familiar.
“That is super OK. We are thriving separately. We want to grow together but also as individuals apart,” he explained.
Alexa, for her part, previously told PUSH ABS-CBN in 2025 how they make their relationship work despite juggling separate projects.
“It’s mostly him! He does most of the work and I really appreciate that because I’ve been so busy with this. Honestly, I’ve been here everyday and aside from this, I also have other things. I’m not saying that KD isn’t busy but he never forgets about me, to check on me. It’s actually the small things. Like asking how I am, what food can he send over to make my day better. So I guess it’s really the small things that really keep the romance,” she shared.
KD and Alexa’s partnership traces back to Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10, where their connection first blossomed. Since then, they have built the KDLex love team through projects such as the iWantTFC Originals miniseries Run To Me and the television series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso. Both have also made their mark on stage, starring as leads in PETA’s 2023 musical Walang Aray, a modern adaptation of Severino Reyes’s 1898 zarzuela Walang Sugat.
