Just days after hard-launching their relationship, pilot and content creator Chezka Carandang gave followers a glimpse into how she officially asked internet personality Katrice Kierulf to be her girlfriend.
In an Instagram post on April 14, Chezka uploaded a reel capturing the intimate proposal she carefully prepared.
The video showed Chezka waiting with excitement, holding a large bouquet of flowers in a room transformed into a romantic haven. White fairy lights softly illuminated the space, complemented by heart-shaped balloons and a flower-filled arc with the words “Be Mine” at its center.

As Katrice entered the room, she was visibly taken aback by the surprise. She paused, taking in the moment, before moving closer and embracing Chezka. Still processing the gesture, Katrice asked what it was all about.
That’s when Chezka asked the question that made the moment even more romantic.
“Will you be mine?” she asked.
Katrice’s response was immediate and filled with joy. She jumped into Chezka’s arms as she answered, “Yes! Yes, of course!”
“Easiest ‘yes,’” Katrice exclaimed.
The sweet moment did not end there. Along with the carefully planned setup, Chezka had another surprise in store, gifting a necklace to Katrice, adding an even more personal touch to the proposal.
“I love you so much,” Katrice said to Chezka.
In her caption, Chezka opened up about the depth of her feelings, expressing a kind of love that many aspire to find.
“You deserve to be loved deeply and intentionally, in ways that meet your depth and go beyond it. There’s a gentleness in it that feels rare. I’m honored to love you.”
“With respect, admiration, and devotion, I am yours… & you are mine @katricekierulf 🤍” she wrote.
The post quickly drew an outpouring of love from family, friends, and fans, many of whom shared in the couple’s joy.
“Awww, i’m so happy for you!! 🥹🤍,” one fan wrote.
“Deserve both of you ❤️🥰 grabe nakakaiyak totoo yung kilig namin 🥹,” another added.
The proposal comes shortly after Chezka confirmed their relationship through an Instagram post, where she shared an intimate video from a beach getaway. The clip featured the couple enjoying their quiet and affectionate moments, watching the sunset, holding hands, hugging, and even playfully teasing a kiss.
“The kind of love you don’t go looking for… it just happens, and suddenly everything makes sense. Never knew love could feel this calm, this sure, this right 😌,” she previously wrote.
Their love story has been closely followed by supporters in recent months, with dating rumors intensifying after the two were spotted together in Boracay.
Both Chezka and Katrice came from long-term relationships. Katrice was previously in a relationship with Kapuso actress Klea Pineda. The two parted ways in July 2025, with Klea confirming in an interview with Boy Abunda that it was a “mutual decision” as they realized they were no longer helping each other grow.
Meanwhile, Chezka shared on December 31, 2025 that she and former partner Claire Inso had ended their eight-year relationship and called off their engagement. In a message, she spoke about the difficulty of letting go despite still having love for one another.
