Social media personality and former beauty queen Clare Inso broke her silence days after her former partner, Chezka Carandang, shared that they’ve parted ways with one another. On her personal account, she expressed her gratitude towards her ex-partner and to everyone who supported them both as a couple and as individuals.

Speculations about their breakup circulated on social media but the former couple didn’t divulge any more details as to the reason of their split.

“To remain quiet would be a disservice to the time and effort I shared in our relationship. I spent one-third of my life with Chezka. She has been my home, my safe space, and my confidant–– just as I tried to be for her,” she shared.

The Instagram Reel showed the various memories the two had together over the years which included Clare dropping Chezka off at the airport for the latter’s flights and their travels outside the country, among many others.

She expressed her gratitude for the years they’ve spent dreaming together as it also “shaped” her into a version of herself that’s “far beyond” what she imagined.

“To this day I remain deeply thankful for the years we dreamed and chose each other through so many seasons. The way I worked, endured, and showed up for myself with her by my side has shaped me into a version of me far beyond what I imagined I could become and could offer,” she continued.

While they may have decided to call it quits when it comes to their relationship and engagement, the former Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidate expressed that they are simply taking time apart and is thankful for everyone that understood where they’re coming from.

“The time we’re taking apart is one grounded in honesty and respect for the truth of where we are now. We thank our families, real friends, and genuine supporters for allowing us grace, patience, and understanding,” she maintained.

For Clare, it’s the two of them that knows their relationship and assured everyone they’re taking the time to “rebuild, realign” and find their footing.

“Beyond the narratives going around, and the background noise, the story Chezka and I wrote, the life we lived together, the love we share remains OURS–– BETTER UNDERSTOOD BY US THAN ANYONE ELSE,” she wrote.

“With intention, we move forward, for now,” she ended.

Prior to the new year, Chezka shared the unfortunate news to their friends and fans about their decision to separate.

“After much reflection, I had to put off the engagement and we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways. We’re grateful for what we shared and kindly ask for privacy as we move forward individually,” Chezka previously wrote.

Clare and Chezka became a couple back in 2017 and got engaged in August of 2024 during their trip to Tanzania, Africa.
