BINI trends Number 1 worldwide as Blooms celebrate historic Coachella debut

BINI soared to the top of global trending charts following their debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, as fans flooded social media with reactions, praise, and pride over the group’s high-energy performance.

BINI reached the No. 1 worldwide trending spot on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after their much-anticipated debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, as their fans, Blooms, across the globe erupted in celebration online.

Within minutes of taking the Mojave Stage, hashtags such as #BINI_CoachellaWk1, #UyPilipins, #Shagidi, and #Karera, among many others, surged to the top of trending lists alongside a flood of fancams, screenshots, and real-time reactions from Blooms. 



Fans described the performances on several social media platforms as “world-class,” praising the group’s ability to command a global stage. 

“the SCREAMSSSS my god I cannot wrap my head around the fact that we used to only hear their introduction and 'mabuhay! we’re bini' at local fests and now we’re really here! 🌸🇵🇭,” one wrote on X.  

“'Pantropiko' the song that opened doors for BINI, turned them into a household name in the Philippines, and now… it’s echoing all the way to Coachella. from local stages to global ones. I’m just so proud. Literal na tumaas balahibo ko nung narinig ko yung intro 😭,” another added.  

Clips of BINI performing “Shagidi,” “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” “Bikini,” and “Pantropiko” quickly circulated online, with viewers highlighting the group’s consistent energy, synchronization, and live vocals throughout the set. 

Blooms led the online movement, with many sharing emotional posts about witnessing a Filipino act achieve such a milestone. Several fans expressed pride and disbelief, calling the moment “historic” and “a huge win for Filipino music.”  

“PANTROPIKO ON COACHELLA FEELS SO SURREAL!!! Dito nagstart lahat eh, and seeing them perfrom this on one of the biggest music fest in the world just makes you feel so proud. You’ve come so far girls!!! BINI PPOP PRIDE!!! 🌸,” one fan posted.  

The group’s onstage interactions also became viral highlights. A standout moment came when Mikha introduced the group’s signature “EYY!” chant, with videos of the crowd doing the gesture quickly going viral.  

“Umabot na yung 'EYY' hand gesture sa COACHELLA !! LOOK AT THAT MASSIVE CROWD DOING THAT!” one fan maintained.   

International viewers also joined the conversation, with many praising BINI’s stage presence and performance quality. For Filipino fans, the achievement held deeper meaning. Many described BINI’s Number 1 worldwide trend as proof of the growing global recognition of Filipino talent, celebrating the group for proudly representing the Philippines on one of the biggest music festival stages. 

“MABUHAY ANG MUSIKANG PILIPINO!!!! WHAT A PERFORMANCE BINI 🇵🇭 BINI PPOP PRIDE,” a fan wrote.  

The 45-minute set showcased BINI’s versatility as Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena performed non-stop choreography, flawless transitions, and delivered a magnetic stage presence.

Even before their Coachella debut, anticipation for the group was sky-high. On April 8, BINI topped global Google Search trends with the term “BINI Coachella,” hitting a perfect score of 100 according to Google Trends data, suggesting the search term became the highest-ranking search worldwide. The group had also been recognized in Rolling Stone’s 20 Acts We Can’t Wait to See at Coachella list where they ranked 15th, further fueling excitement ahead of their performance.   

After their historic debut, BINI is scheduled to return to the Coachella stage for a second performance on April 18 (PH time). Their international momentum continues with an appearance at the GRAMMY Museum’s “Global Spin Live” on April 21 and grace Billboard’s 'Women in Music' and receive the Global Force Award on April 29.
