BINI just made history after successfully debuting at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, marking a groundbreaking moment not just for the group, but for the Philippines. As the first-ever Filipino act to perform at the globally renowned festival, the eight-member group signaled a major leap for OPM on the international stage.
The Nation’s Girl Group took over the Mojave Stage on April 10 at 4:15 p.m. (PDT), or April 11 at 7:15 a.m. (Philippine time). It is one of Coachella’s most notable stages, known for showcasing both rising stars and global acts. As the festival’s second-largest tent, it has hosted standout performances from artists like Ed Sheeran, Lizzo, Carly Rae Jepsen, and more in recent years.

Even before they appeared, the crowd could already be heard chanting “BINI, BINI!” in anticipation.
From the moment they stepped into the spotlight, BINI delivered a 45-minute set packed with relentless energy, precision, and commanding stage presence. Opening with “Shagidi,” the group immediately set the tone with a tightly choreographed performance that drew loud cheers. Dressed in modern-Filipino ensembles with salakot-inspired headpieces, the members proudly highlighted their roots while embracing the global stage.
The performance intensified as they seamlessly transitioned into “Zero Pressure,” shedding their initial outfits to reveal gold-and-blue glittered fringed outfits paired with gold high boots, marking a bold shift that aligned with the concept of their latest EP, Signals.
Without pause, members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena showcased their endurance as they blended powerful choreography with live vocals. Tracks like “Out of My Head” further highlighted their vocal range and chemistry, with the group visibly enjoying the moment together.
After their opening set of English tracks, BINI greeted the audience, drawing deafening cheers from fans, known as Blooms, waving their BINI light sticks in the air.
“Coachella! Are you having a great time? I love the energy!” asked Jhoanna.
“2, 3! Mabuhay!” the group greeted in unison, before introducing themselves one by one.
“We are BINI! All the way from the Philippines!” they proudly declared, drawing even louder applause.
“We are so grateful to represent the Philippines on a global stage,” Aiah added.
“Shoutout to our Blooms here! Mahal namin kayo!” Sheena said.

They continued to amplify Filipino pride with performances of well-loved Tagalog hits, including “Karera,” which had the crowd clapping along, and “Salamin, Salamin,” where fans loudly sang the iconic “Ayokong maniwala, ey!” line in unison. The group further impressed with sharp dance breaks and powerful high notes.
Transitioning seamlessly between high-energy and lighter moments, BINI showcased their versatility with “Blink Twice,” delivering a softer, more playful performance before shifting into the sweet yet fierce vibe of “Cherry on Top,” complete with vivid red visuals and floating cherry graphics.
“Being here with all of you has been the sweetest cherry on top on our journey so far,” Maloi shared after the performance.
Mikha then taught the crowd their signature “EYY!” hand gesture, which the audience enthusiastically echoed throughout the tent.
In a major highlight, BINI performed their latest song “Blush” from their newest EP Signals, live for the first time, bringing tropical island energy to the stage. The group embraced a summer-inspired aesthetic with longer fringed skirts and vibrant visuals, seamlessly transitioning into “Bikini” then “Pantropiko,” which sent the crowd into a frenzy with its upbeat, feel-good vibe.
They closed their set with a powerful dance break, underscoring their stamina and performance strength from start to finish.
“We love you Blooms! We are BINI! Salamat po!” the group said as they bowed after the 45-minute set.
“Pilipinas!” they proudly shouted, prompting cheers from Filipino fans in the crowd.
Both onsite and online, the performance drew overwhelming praise. Festival-goers were seen dancing and cheering throughout, while global audiences tuned in via the Mojave Stage livestream on YouTube. Filipino fans flooded social media with messages of pride, while international viewers lauded the group’s stage presence and performance quality.
Sharing the stage with global acts such as Central Cee, Blood Orange, Ethel Cain, Moby, and Devo, BINI proved they could stand shoulder to shoulder with international performers across genres.
On the festival’s opening day, BINI also shares the lineup with artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Swae Lee, and KATSEYE performing across other stages.
Following their successful debut, BINI is set to return to the Coachella stage for a second performance on April 18 (PH time). Shortly after, BINI is also scheduled to appear at the GRAMMY Museum’s “Global Spin Live” on April 21 and grace Billboard’s 'Women in Music' and receive the Global Force Award on April 29.
