MANILA -- Karla Estrada on Sunday organized a thanksgiving lunch for the fan clubs who supported her daughter, Lella Ford, during her stint in the recently-concluded PBB Celebrity Collab Season 2.

Purple-clad fans gathered and showered Ford with love after emerging as the PBB Big Winner.

During the event, Estrada and Ford reacted to a recent comment made by Vice Ganda, wherein she criticized the "toxic" fans of PBB housemates.

"Madami nga talagang toxic na fans ang mga PBB housemates. Mabababa ang functional literacy. Kaya napapabuntong hininga na lang ang mga staff ng show pag guest yang housemates e kasi for sure may mga fantards na konting utot magmamaoy. Imbis na maexcite ang staff nasstress," Vice wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The post came after Ford and fellow Big Winner Caprice Cayetano appeared on "It's Showtime."

"Just always choose to be kind," said Ford. "Libre lang naman maging mabait, bakit mo pinagkakait yun sa ibang tao."

"Wag naman nating gawing karumal-dumal yung experience nila," said Estrada, noting that majority of this batch of PBB housemates are teenagers who are new to the business.

"Bigyan naman natin ng magandang experience yung mga batang artista. Wag natin silang buhayin sa negativity, bashing and all. Hindi na yan uso," she added.

Estrada had recently called out someone online for making abusive remarks about her daughter. Her legal team is currently tracking down the person behind the comment.

As for Ford's debut project, Estrada said they have no final plans yet.

"Ngayon kasi inaaral pa, kung ano yung maganda. Pwede kasing magstart sila ng kuya DJ niya. Pero wala pang malaking usapin for that," she said.
