Kapuso Big Winner Caprice Cayetano set the record straight about her Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 “ideal guy” description that captured fans’ curiosity. In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on March 2, Caprice took the opportunity to clarify who she was referring to and shared her stance about being paired with fellow Kapuso housemate and 2nd Big Placer Heath Jornales, fondly called by fans as “CapEath”.
Boy recalled a moment inside the house when Caprice was asked about her ideal guy, whom she previously described to be someone not too tall, short-haired, clean-looking, and simple in clothing. At the time, many were wondering if she was talking about her fellow Kapuso housemate. Caprice clarified that this description was never meant to hint at Heath.
“Hindi po si Heath yung sinasabi ko noon,” she clarified.
She went on to explain that the “standard” she was referring to was her father, Chef Jorge Mendez, whom she deeply admires.
“Si daddy po talaga yung sinasabi ko. Si daddy po kasi talaga yung nagiging standard ko. Si daddy po yung dahilan kung bakit mataas yung standards ko. Gusto ko po, kung sakali man po, parang si daddy. Kasing bait po niya, kasing hardworking po ni daddy.”
When asked if she considers Heath good-looking, Caprice answered candidly, saying: “Agree naman po ako sa sinasabi nila. May itsura naman po si Heath.”

As the studio filled with kilig from supporters of the CapEath tandem, Caprice shared that inside the house, she did not sense romantic feelings developing between her and Heath, noting that their dynamic was more comfortable and natural.
“Nafe-feel ko po wala po kaming nafe-feel towards each other.”
“Kasi hindi naman po kami nag-uusap sa bahay kaya nagulat po ako,” she said, further explaining that she personally did not develop romantic feelings for him.
Caprice also said that she became aware of the pairing as it turned into an inside joke among housemates. Still, she emphasized that her bond with Heath is genuine, rooted in friendship and trust.
“Nakikita ko po siya as a friend po, as my family, as my little brother kaya nagulat din po talaga ako na meron palang sumusuporta sa amin dito sa labas.”
Despite clarifying her feelings, Caprice said that she is genuinely thankful for the support and enthusiasm surrounding their tandem. While she acknowledged the excitement, she also explained that at this point in her life, she hopes to stay grounded and focus on her personal growth and career following her PBB journey.
“Gusto ko po sana mag-focus lang po sana sa sarili kong career.”
During the interview, she also spoke about her parents’ guidance, sharing that they are supportive and trusting. Asked whether she is allowed by her parents to have crushes or a boyfriend, Caprice maintained: “Sa tingin ko po mas gusto [rin nila] at gusto ko rin po na mas mag-focus sa teenage life ko, sa sarili ko, at sa path ko rin po sa career ko.”
Meanwhile, the Kapuso Big Winner also recalled the emotional moment when she learned she had won the season.
“Nung nalaman ko po na ako po ang Kapuso Big Winner, hinahanap ko po agad talaga yung family ko kasi gusto ko po talaga ma-feel nila yung kasiyahan ko. Shocked po talaga ako and nakita ko na maraming maraming tao kaya masayang masaya po talaga ako. Unti-unti pa rin po siyang nagsi-sink in sa akin na Big Winner po ako.”
Reflecting on her four months inside the PBB house, Caprice shared how the experience changed her personally.
“Mas marami po akong natutunan sa sarili ko dahil nung first week po ako po yung naging task leader. Nalaman ko po na kaya ko pala maging task leader tsaka nabawasan po yung hiya ko towards other housemates.”
“Before si Caprice po mahiyain po talaga siya. As in nahihiya po talaga si Caprice and medyo kulang sa tiwala sa sarili [at] napapangunahan ng kaba. Pero ngayon po masasabi ko po na si Caprice ay confident, mas may tiwala sa sarili, at friendly po si Caprice. Masasabi ko po na mabuti po si Caprice and willing to learn,” she said.
As she takes home ₱1 million after winning PBB, Caprice also plans to donate to the Little Ark Foundation, which helps underprivileged Filipino kids with serious illnesses.
