At a time when some people catch feelings in, like, three business days (nothing wrong with whirlwind romances though), "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" housemates Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales have shown us that 'kilig' feels sweeter when it blooms slowly.

Now shipped by fans as CapEath, these two are giving us butterflies simply because they're not trying too hard. They've captivated audiences just through the organic flow of their chemistry. And even if the 'ayuda' doesn't come daily, CapEath drops just enough crumbs to keep our hearts doing somersaults—and we never mind waiting. That’s the real definition of a slow-burn.

So, for our Valentine's Day dose of smiles, let's break down the timeline of CapEath's slow but sure build-up of moments in Bahay Ni Kuya.

Chapter 1: Barely Warm

At first, there were almost zero signs that CapEath would turn into a ship (both Sparkle babies but no team-ups before “PBB” and they were barely even seen talking in the early days), until sharp-eyed viewers started picking up on how adorable they looked together after they became part of the same team during the housemates' first group formation.

The turning point came on Day 10 when leader Carmelle Collado picked Caprice, Heath, and Rave Victoria to form her group, which they named Caramel Macutesy. Cutesy # 1 (Heath) and Cutesy #2 (Caprice) started to share little interactions as part of this mini bubble. So, Carmelle was the matchmaker who didn’t know she was matchmaking. Right?

Wearing school uniforms, CapEath reminded us of the high school kilig when you get assigned with your crush for a group activity, as they made and presented individual dioramas about their families. Caprice revealed that her family lives in the same condo building but in different units, while Heath shared how tight their living space is. Even with those contrasting situations, we saw they shared the same deep appreciation for family.

And apparently, they’ve got another thing in common—they're both Neatness MVPs too! When the housemates were reprimanded by Big Brother for their untidiness, Caprice and Heath, along with Fred Moser and Sofia Pablo, were voted the Most Organized and Most Disciplined, so they were tasked to restore cleanliness and order throughout the house.

It’s so cute how these two remind us that ‘harana’ is not dead because it’s been part of their little story inside the house. On Day 14, reunited with his guitar, Heath performed “Back to You,” one of his original songs and a personal favorite, while Caprice was spotted listening intently. And because that week was all about music, the housemates were split into two groups, the vocalists under Carmelle and the instrumentalists under Heath, where Caprice ended up.

You've probably come across a screenshot that made the rounds online—that ‘couch moment’ where Caprice and Heath were just sitting next to each other in the confession room, and yet the chemistry was so unexpectedly strong that fans got crazy kilig over something that, for the two of them, seemed totally ordinary.

It’s like the universe heard the clamor from the outside world and decided to grant our collective wish, because who else would show up but a certified fairy godmother in the form of Shuvee Etrata herself?

When Shuvee from the OG “PBB Collab” returned to Bahay Ni Kuya as a houseguest, she became the ate-slash-mediator between the boys and girls, who were separated at the time to sort out some gender-related issues.

Once peace was restored and ~vibes~ were healed, the boys decided to get all sweet by making pancakes for the girls they liked, specifically Fred for Princess Aliyah, and Rave for Ashley Sarmiento. Joaquin Arce whipped up pancakes for everyone, but the extra special one went to Lella Ford.

While the other girls were smiling over their surprise pancakes from the boys they were being linked with, Caprice was just nonchalant in a corner. Shuvee noticed, so she asked Caprice about her ideal guy and whether she had a crush inside the house.

Instead of naming names, the bashful Caprice just described the kind of guy she likes. Read: Hindi masyadong matangkad. Very clean-looking. Hindi mahaba 'yung hair. Plain manamit.

Shuvee and the other girls had a mini heart-melt, realizing that the description sounded a lot like Heath. It was at that exact moment that the outside world figured out the housemates had been shipping them all along, even before viewers noticed.

So… do we all agree to officially crown Shuvee as the CapEath Fairy Godmother? Altogether now: Salamat sa buhay mo, Shuvee!

Chapter 2: Spark Detected

As if Fairy Godmother Shuvee had sprinkled a little kilig dust over CapEath, major heart-skipping scenes came one after another following her visit, slowly breaking down the invisible wall between the two housemates. Where they were once barely seen talking, this time it felt like Heath started making little moves (but with big 'feels') to get to know Caprice.

On Day 48, the housemates (all clad in adorable Santa elf costumes), paired them during an impromptu dance battle. The 'shy type' Heath surprised everyone by flashing a finger heart at Caprice. In Gen Z lexicon, ginalaw na ni Heath ang baso!

It turned out, that was just the warm-up! “Special pancake for a special person,” said Heath when he made a batch of pancakes just for Caprice as his chosen good deed (which was part of their weekly task, where nominated housemates had the chance to do a meaningful gesture for a chosen housemate) and as a way of officially breaking the walls between them.

The pancakes may have been slightly burnt but that moment didn’t taste bitter at all, as Caprice appreciated the sincere intentions behind them. Safe to say the whole house (and maybe even Kuya himself) was converted into certified CapEath shippers.

As part of their weekly task on Day 56 to Day 58, the housemates performed a virtual caroling session for the outside world, fully wrapped in themed holiday costumes. It so happened that Caprice and Heath were placed in the same group performing "Joy to the World," which was specially requested by their families.

The chemistry was hard to miss! Both dressed as angels, they looked heaven-sent and had our emotions flying straight to the clouds.

Chapter 3: Playing F.L.A.M.E.S.

Remember that game where you'd match names and find out if you were meant to be Friends, Lovers, Admirers, Married, Enemies, or Soulmates? This next chapter felt like that stage where the letters start lining up with excitement as Caprice and Heath began to grow more at ease with one another and comfortable in their conversations, even if some parts still felt adorably awkward (it’s part of the CapEath charm, anyway!)

On Day 69, the male housemates were totally ‘shookt’ by the girls’ makeover. Heath was stunned when Caprice showed up serving a whole new look. The rest of the boys even poked fun at him in the confession room after he admitted that her glow-up had him in his feels.

The glam-up sesh was actually part of their prep for “KISLAP: The Sparkling Magical New Year Ball.” And yes, fireworks shot straight through the roof when Heath later asked Caprice to be his date to the Ball. Cue heart eyes!

For his promposal, he picked up his guitar and performed “Coffee Shop,” which happened to be Caprice’s favorite among his original compositions. He even tweaked the lyrics just for her. “She’s nice. She’s pretty, and she’d be a perfect partner for the ball,” Heath said about Caprice, having no one else in mind as his date except her.

On the night of the KISLAP Ball, the atmosphere sparkled like the title promised, as housemates walked the red carpet in pairs and in full glam.

As part of the program, they each took turns sharing their hopes for 2026.

In turn, he also melted when she took the mic, "Ang galing niya mag-talk in front of other people and that's something na I'm not good at. I'm really happy for her and I'm really proud of her na nagawa niya po 'yun."

Neither of them knew how to dance with a partner but they laughed through the nerves and made it through with support from their fellow housemates. Heath was so real for saying, “Since no’ng pine-pair kami ni Caprice ng mga housemates, ‘yung relationship namin as friends para naging more awkward, Kuya.” But, thanks to the Ball, the awkwardness slowly dissolved. “Wala na po ‘yung hiya-hiya… napaka-relieving po nu’ng feeling na ‘yun.”

The entire house collectively voted them into being crowned King and Queen of the Ball. And then later that night, they walked around the pool together, chatting about friends, school, and curfews, like two teens just enjoying each other’s company. Heath shared, “Mas open na po kami sa isa’t isa to talk and build a deeper relationship as friends," which Caprice echoed, “Mas less ‘yung hiyaan sa isa’t isa.”

We're so obsessed with CapEath Kislap King and Queen era!

Chapter 4: CapEath Lang!

Bye-bye, awkwardness.

On Day 86, they were paired once again during the Sayaw sa Bangko folk dance routine. They had to literally lean on each other to pull off the trust-heavy choreography. And while Caprice was still finding her footing in the beginning, their connection kicked in as the performance progressed. Heath admitted that Caprice’s confidence (especially since she’s not scared of heights!) actually helped him calm his nerves. Aww!

CapEath fans got another treat on Day 87 when the two were grouped together again, in the Solid Six, which made Caprice happy because it reminded her of their old Caramel Macutesy days.

Subtle moments between the two began to reflect how much more at ease they had become with one another, like during their majorette lessons when Heath randomly turned a baton move into some martial arts antics, making Caprice burst into laughter. “Bigla pong naging action star si Heath. Sobrang nagulat po talaga kami,” she gushed.

Day 94 was 'Meet the Daddy' time for Heath—literally. For their PBB Bistro restaurant task, Caprice’s dad, Chef Jorge, dropped by to help with the R&D and even whipped up special omelets for the housemates. Of course, everyone including Heath didn't see it coming. “No’ng sinabi ni Caprice na daddy niya po ang bisita, nagulat po ako,” he confessed.

As the PBB Bistro opened on Day 97, some housemates’ loved ones came in as customers, so Caprice finally got to meet Heath’s mom in person as well. “Natutuwa po ako para sa kanila, at masaya po ako na na-meet din po namin ‘yung loved ones nila,” she reacted.

They say the way to someone’s heart is through food, well, CapEath sure knows how to cook up a whole serving of feels! For a special task, the nominated housemates—the entire Solid Six—were asked to prepare a meal for a 'special' housemate. They cooked by group, but the choice of who to share the meal with was personal.

In the kitchen, Caprice, Heath, and Sofia worked together to whip up a breakfast platter packed with love—bacon, meatloaf, and… pancakes.

Caprice’s panic was adorably obvious as she tried to figure out how to approach the person she had chosen to share the meal with—who turned out to be Heath. When she finally invited him to the garden area for the surprise, the other housemates were practically pressed against the glass door, screaming and peeking in excitement.

It was Caprice’s way of saying thank you for the time Heath once cooked pancakes for her. Kindness met with kindness! “I felt special,” Heath reacted. Caprice slowly settled in, thanks to Heath’s naturally warm presence. And to cut through the last bit of 'hiya,' she challenged him to a joke battle. Iconic.

Thankfully, CapEath survived that week's eviction scare, and what followed was a fresh batch of kilig during the first Big Jump Challenge. The housemates had to vote for one Kapamilya and one Kapuso they believed truly deserved a Big Ticket to the Big Jump.

Without discussing, Caprice and Heath chose each other instinctively—as if mutual respect and admiration were just wired into how they see one another.

After all the pressure of the first Big Jump challenge (which Caprice nailed and now she’s part of the Ultimate 8), we've got CapEath 'K-drama' edition!

While waiting for the next batch of guests at the PBB Hotel, the housemates decided to kill time with another round of skits. The instigators came up with an enemies-to-lovers trope for the pair. In the scene, Heath cuts in line ahead of Caprice on campus, which annoys Caprice, until the tension turns into softness. Those lingering glances stole the scene and sure fed the fans' craving as well.

The CapEath journey still continues, and you can bet we’re keeping tabs until the Big Night—and once they’re back in the outside world, of course. Bookmark this page for the continuation and next updates on the CapEath slow-burn story.
