The couple also displayed their comedic side during the reception. During their introductions as seen in the clips shared by actor Kristoffer Martin, Kim first walked out with a different Jerald—Gerald Anderson—much to the guests' amusement. For his part, Jerald walked out with a different Kim, Kim Atienza, who was also their godfather for their wedding.

Early in February, Kim unveiled her underwater-themed pre-wedding film with Jerald titled "A Mermaid's Dream" ahead of their union.
"Actors by profession and both being certified freedivers, my choice of activity was something close to home. A concept I've been dreaming of doing since I started freediving in 2017... a Freediver & Mermaid short film. 'A Mermaid's Dream,'" Kim previously shared on Facebook about the inspiration behind the pre-wedding film.
The actress also revealed the special design she incorporated into her mermaid's tail. "My tail also has a tattoo that matches mine! Tattoo is in vertical Baybayin of the tail's name, Hiraya," she said.
The pre-wedding film was shot in Bohol.

Kim and Jerald got engaged on August 11, 2024.
Jerald proposed at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City, the very place where their relationship began a decade earlier.
"On this stage, exactly 10 years ago, we met for the first time. We didn’t know each other, two worlds apart–– Saudi (Arabia) girl [and] Tondo boy. Nag-duet kaagad tayo ng hindi pa nag-uusap, so doon tayo nagkakilala," Jerald recalled as seen in their proposal video.
He added, "This stage has given me a lot of things in my life. Progress, dreams, goals, career, a name, a family, new friends, and of course, a special someone. Pasensya na kung sampung taon ang inabot, pinahinog lang siguro ng panahon," he remarked.
