Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles have unveiled their pre-wedding film ahead of their union this March.
Titled A Mermaid's Dream, the video features a whimsical underwater-themed concept, featuring Kim as a mermaid and Jerald as a diver.
The short film also includes clips showcasing moments from the couple's journey together, offering fans a glimpse into their relationship through the years.
Towards the end of the video, a parody of how Kim came up with the concept for the pre-wedding film was also shown.
Fans online were quick to react to the pre-wedding film.
"Congratulations and God bless you both as you enter a new chapter in your lives. Big warm hugs," one fan commented.
"Very magical 'yung scene sa dagat.. perfect... Best wishes in advance my fave couple," another fan wrote.
Kim also clarified that she trained for the underwater shots and it was not generated by AI.
"Sana naniniwala na kayo na sirena ako 🥹🫶😮💨😅 at HINDI YAN AI 😎 mayabang ako sa part na yan ang hirap mag training forda isdaaaa HAHAHA," she posted in the comment section of the video.
According to Kim’s Instagram profile, she is an AIDA certified free diver and an MFI certified mermaid, and she is a proud owner of a handful of professional custom-maid mermaid tails that she wears as she freedives.
Kim and Jerald are set to tie the knot on March 1, 2026.
The couple got engaged on August 11, 2024.
Jerald proposed at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City, the very place where their relationship began a decade earlier.
"On this stage, exactly 10 years ago, we met for the first time. We didn’t know each other, two worlds apart–– Saudi (Arabia) girl [and] Tondo boy. Nag-duet kaagad tayo ng hindi pa nag-uusap, so doon tayo nagkakilala," Jerald recalled as seen in their proposal video.
He went on to reflect on how meaningful the stage had been in his life. "This stage has given me a lot of things in my life. Progress, dreams, goals, career, a name, a family, new friends, and of course, a special someone. Pasensya na kung sampung taon ang inabot, pinahinog lang siguro ng panahon," he remarked.
Jerald also shared that he had planned to propose in 2023 on several occasions but was unable to push through with them. "Due to circumstances, 'di rin natuloy," he said.
After his speech, Jerald finally popped the question, and an emotional Kim happily said yes.
