Ronnie Alonte is one proud father as he takes the first few moments of parenthood to cut the umbilical cord of Runi Lior, nicknamed Nili, his firstborn child with actress Loisa Andalio.
It was on March 12 when Ronnie first revealed that his wife, Loisa, had given birth. In an Instagram post, the actor introduced baby Nili to their followers by shared a photo of their newborn daughter. Baby Nili could be seen wearing a onesie embroidered with her initials, “RL“.

In the days that followed, more glimpses of the milestone moment were shared by those close to the couple, including Loisa’s mother Sandie and celebrity make-up artist RB Chanco.
One of the images shared by RB on Instagram showed a touching scene where Ronnie was standing beside a team of medical professionals. He helped the team by cutting the umbilical cord of baby Nili shortly after she was born.

Having a father or birth partner cut the umbilical cord is a common practice in many hospitals and birthing centers. While it is not a medical requirement, healthcare providers often offer the opportunity to partners as a way to include them in the birth experience and help foster an early emotional connection with the newborn.

RB’s post also showed tender moments of the couple gently holding and admiring their daughter.
“You are the cutest, most beautiful little blessing. I know you will grow up with the same kind and beautiful heart as your parents,” RB wrote into her post, referring to baby Nili.
The arrival of Nili also marked a special milestone for Loisa’s mother, Sandie, as her first granddaughter. She already has three grandsons.
After welcoming their daughter, the new family of three was able to go home a few days later. Soon after, Loisa shared a reflection about stepping into motherhood.
“Three days into motherhood, and I am already feeling emotions I cannot even put into words….overwhelming love, gratitude, awe, and even a little fear because this love is so big. To all the mothers out there, I see you and I honor you. Now I understand the strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love that comes with being a mom,” she wrote.

Alongside the message, Loisa posted a compilation of photos from the birth of their child, including moments inside the delivery room where Ronnie stood by her side as she lay on the operating table, offering support.

“@iamr2alonte , thank you for being my strength through it all. Thank you for your patience, your quiet sacrifices, and for working hard for our family. You held my hand through every moment, and I could not have done this without you. Walking through this journey with you made me love you even more deeply. Seeing you become a father is one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. 💜,” Loisa continued in her post.
Now stepping into their roles as parents, the couple also promised their daughter that she would be filled with love, faith, and guidance as they begin building their life together as a family.
“We promise to give you a life filled with love, faith, and beautiful memories, and a home where you will always feel safe and deeply loved. 🌸🩷🏡,” Loisa wrote.
