Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez got candid with her emotions as she described the feeling of postpartum to her followers. In her Instagram post earlier this week, the celebrity mom shared the different emotions she’s been feeling ever since she gave birth to her child.
Jessica welcomed her daughter, Eliana Mae Gallardo last October 2025. Eliana is her first child with husband Rickie Gallardo.

“Postpartum is a feeling no one really prepares you for. It’s love so deep it hurts, joy mixed with exhaustion, gratitude tangled with tears,” she wrote.
The America’s Got Talent winner showed various photos of herself and her husband with their child in the first few months of parenthood. She admitted how her body has been feeling “unfamiliar” and at the same time her heart has been “fuller than ever.”
“Your body feels unfamiliar, your heart feels fuller than ever, and every emotion shows up uninvited,” she added.
Despite all the emotions she’s been feeling, Jessica continued to remind mothers like her to give themselves time to process everything in this new chapter of their lives.
“Healing isn’t linear. Becoming a mother changes you forever softly, loudly, beautifully, painfully.
If you’re in this season, Give yourself time, Give yourself grace🤍 #postpartum,” she ended.

Previously, Jessica introduced their child to the public after giving birth. She was pregnant while she was competing in America’s Got Talent which made fans love her determination to win even more.
