Sofia Trazona, the trans child of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, appealed to netizens to stop sending hate towards her mother amid continued backlash surrounding their family.

In recent weeks, Sofia, together with her mother Izzy and stepfather Alvin Aragon, has been the subject of public scrutiny after family issues circulated online. The situation began when Sofia addressed netizens regarding her relationship with her mother, saying they had not seen each other physically for some time. She clarified that they remain in communication but explained that their distance was due to fear of her mother’s possible reaction upon seeing her transitioning as a transgender woman.

The issue escalated after Alvin made statements citing the Bible, condemning homosexuality. Following this, netizens began criticizing Izzy, accusing her of failing to protect her child.

In a Facebook post on February 21, Sofia made it clear that despite everything being said online, her relationship with her mom remains fine. She also directly appealed to the public to stop the attacks.

“okay po kami ni mama don’t worry! please stop sending hate towards her. i love my mom so much 🤍,” Sofia wrote.

Along with the post was a screenshot of a recent private conversation between them, showing how they held their relationship together with reassurance and love. In the exchange, Sofia first checked on her mother’s well-being and invited her to spend time together.

“okay ka lang jan? Gusto mo magshopping tayo?” Sofia told her mom.

“one that I’m grateful is that ang dami [nang] pinagdaaan ng relationship natin... and we fight for it, by His grace. Magkalayo, but we know in our hearts that the love never goes out. Kahit ano pang sabihin ng iba,” Izzy replied.

“of course! you're my mom kadikit ka na ng life ko ma. Mahal na mahal kita... I’ll never stop fighting for you,” Sofia then responded.

Netizens quickly reacted to Sofia’s post, expressing admiration for the strength of their bond despite the public scrutiny and distance they are currently facing.

“Proud of how deeply you love and understand your mom. You stayed strong for her and kept your bond intact, despite the man she married and the mess she’s been pulled into,” one netizen commented.

“So proud of you sofia kasi u have a good heart ang nag mamahal sa magulang bini bless ni Lord kya gawin mo ang tama bilang anak sofia we love you ❤❤❤,” another added.

In another post, Sofia expressed how much she misses her mother through a video while lip-syncing to “Dati,” a song by Sam Concepcion and Tippy Dos Santos.

“i miss you mom 🤍,” Sofia wrote, to which Izzy replied, “miss you too ❤️”

Prior to her appeal for compassion, Sofia had also released a Facebook video directly addressing Alvin, expressing exhaustion over the issue and the emotional toll it has taken on her, especially as she continued to defend her mother in public.

“To Mister Aragon, I’m addressing this specifically to you dahil, to be honest, I’m tired. I’m hurting. Pagod na rin ako magdefend at proteksyunan yung nanay ko sa lahat ng mga interviews, sa lahat ng mga nangyari rito sa social media. Napapagod na rin ako,” Sofia said.

“Gusto ko na ring matapos lahat lahat ng ito. Hindi ko rin alam kung saan nanggagaling yung galit mo and galit sa puso mo kasi to be honest, dapat naman full of love tayo. Pero, wala rin naman perfect na Christian,” she added.

Sofia continued by questioning the absence of grace in how she felt she was being treated, saying: “Pero kasi at the same time, bakit wala nang grace, compassion. Hindi mo na kayang magbigay ng grace and compassion tapos bakit kailangan mo sirain yung sarili mo and bakit kailangan mo rin ako sirain?”

She also revealed that in past interviews, she had deliberately withheld painful details to protect Alvin’s image, before recounting an incident that she initially believed was normal discipline.

“Honestly, pagod na pagod na ako. Hindi ko alam kung kailan matatapos ito. I even protected you sa isang interview. Hindi ko nga sinabi na sinakal mo ako ‘di ba? Pero ayon talaga yung totoong nangyari. I even choked for how many seconds bago mo tinigil yung sakal na iyon. Noong time an iyon hindi ko pinersonal iyon dahil akala ko noong time na iyon, normal lang ang ganoong pagdidisiplina pero habang lumalaki ako, mali pala talaga iyon,” Sofia stated.

She ended her message by stressing that she has no intention of destroying him or his family and wants to move forward peacefully.

“Pagod na pagod na ako. Tama na. Wala akong intensyon na sirain ka. Wala akong intensyon na masira yung family niyo. I'm happy for you guys. Susuportahan ko kayo kung saan man niyo gusto mapunta in life. Let’s just focus on that. Let's just focus on whatever you want to do in life. Ayon lang. Maraming salamat,” she said.

Amid the feud, Sofia said that her biological father, Michael Navarro, has been fully supportive of her journey as a trans woman.
