ABS-CBN reporter Karen De Guzman had something to say after the blooper TV Patrol news anchor and veteran broadcaster Karen Davila made earlier this week. On her X (formerly Twitter) account, the Kapamilya news reporter shared clips of the previous Karen to Karen interactions they had during live reports in the past.
This comes after Karen (Davila) was about to introduce the news report of Karen (De Guzman) and she accidentally stated her own name rather than Karen (De Guzman). The clip of the video has received thousands of views on social media.
“Nagpa-patrol Karen Davila, ay Karen De [Guzman]!" she said during her spiels.

“Buti na lang talaga, hindi na po need i-mention ang surname after lead in haha. Forever a fan of Ms. @iamkarendavila,” she wrote on her X.
The veteran journalist was quick to apologize both on and off air to the younger Karen for the mistake which the latter graciously accepted and found humorous.
“OMG… ay… Karen De Guzman! Apologies,” Karen Davila wrote.
“Hahaha. Hi Ma’am @iamkarendavila!! You made my day po hihi,” Karen De Guzman assured.
Netizens were quick to praise Karen Davila for apologizing to Karen De Guzman even if it was a funny mistake as they saw how professional the broadcaster was. Other netizens assured the older Karen that they found it funny and making a blooper once in a while was alright.
“Kahit di naman kailangan apologize sayo Karen De Guzman naging fan of Karen Davila naging marespetong nila veteran journalist to eh kaya cute and funny talaga niyo eh,” a viewer expressed.
“No worries Ms Karen! Things happen even to the best! 😉 Gave me a good laugh! Cheers,” a fan added.
Right after the blooper happened, ABS-CBN News uploaded on Facebook the behind-the-scenes where Karen was explaining what was going through her head after she made the blooper.
“Alam mo 'yung [parang] automatic na 'yung utak mo. My gosh, Karen de Guzman," she said in the behind-the-scenes clip.
