Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria recently added Morocco to the list of countries she has explored and enjoyed traveling to.
On her social media page, Jodi shared what she loved and discovered during her trip, describing the experience as both overwhelming and grounding.
“Morocco gave me sensory overload but in a good way. It’s colorful but grounding, chaotic pero may rhythm, maingay yet surprisingly calming. Bawat sulok, kanto, may kwento,” Jodi wrote.
In the carousel of photos she shared, the actress highlighted Morocco’s stunning scenery, flavorful cuisine, and memorable moments, including her interaction with a Moroccan monkey and discovering different and local spices.
“Listening to traditional storytellers called the Hakawati was amazing.. unfortunately it’s a tradition that’s gradually fading away,” she shared. “The spice market was vibrant and walking through Fez made me feel like I travelled back in time.”
She went on to describe her experience in the desert and her appreciation for Moroccan food and architecture. “The desert’s golden light is so peaceful, almost hypnotic. Yung food! Aromatic and savory. Instant favorite ko ang Tajine 😊 And the architecture…intricate, grand, and court-yard centered. The people are warm and friendly 👍🏻.”
Jodi capped off her post by expressing her gratitude for the experience, writing: “Nag-enjoy ako. Thank you for another wonderful experience, Morocco!”

“(In) travelling, it is like my charge kasi narerenew ako, narerecharge ako and then mas nakaklaro iyong utak ko and then when I get back from the traveling, it is when I was like ‘Okay, I’m ready to work,'” she added.
