MANILA -- Actor Derek Ramsay opted to keep his silence but admitted that he was hurt with the recent controversies about his separation with wife Ellen Adarna.
Asked of his reaction that he is a villain the eyes of many people because of the issues, Ramsay said: "No comment ako diyan. Out of respect for everyone that is involved in that situation. Ang sagot ko sa iyo ay no comment na ako diyan. I said I'm at peace."
Ramsay made the statement in the second part of the latest vlog of Morly Alinio.
Pressed if he was hurt, Ramsay said: "Of course. I think everyone knows that and everyone sees that That's why nagpapasalamat talaga ako na nakapunta kami ng UK kasama ang anak ko, kasama ang mommy at daddy ko, 'yung kapatid ko at mga anak niya. It was a very good time to reflect, take a breather, and start the new year right. Talagang nasaktan ako. Sobra."

Asked how he was able to rise again after the challenges and accusations following his separation with his wife, the actor said it was his faith in God that gives him strength.
"Siyempre my support system has always been there But really going back to your faith. I've always been a man of faith. May takot ako sa Diyos but I think lahat naman tayo guilty na masarap ang buhay mo, everything is great, masaya ka minsan nakakalimutan mo magpasalamat. Pinalaki ako ng mommy ko na to have faith," he said.
"Siguro during the times na I was so focused with my family and everything is going well in my life nakalimutan ko Siya. Nakalimutan ko magpasalamat. So with my good friend and family ko they help me get back to my faith. Para siyang reminder, kumatok sa pinto si Lord 'uy nandito ako.' I just turn my focus to Him kahit anong ingay kahit anong problema ibinigay ko na lahat sa Kanya. 'Yun talaga ang nakatulong sa akin," adds the actor, who admitted that he also made wrong decisions including allowing his emotions to take over him.
"Siguro kasi ngayon parang na-reset ko na 'yung sarili ko. Like I said ibinigay ko na sa Lord. Ayaw ko na balikan 'yung oras na pinagdaanan ko during that time. Talagang lubog ako noon. Parang wala akong gana sa buhay noong time na 'yon," he said, admitting that he cried because of the controversies.
Ramsay chose not to elaborate when asked whether he made any effort to save their relationship. "Ayaw ko magsalita. Ayaw ko na ma-misunderstood. I just want to keep my mouth shut," he said.
In the vlog, Ramsay also denied that he has a new girlfriend.
