MANILA — Actor Derek Ramsay said he is “at peace” and focusing on self-care and family as he opens up about recent personal challenges in a vlog interview.
"I’m at peace. Hindi na ako mukhang haggard. Bumalik na ‘yung katawan ko at bumalik na ‘yung focus ko to take care of myself again. I'm at peace,” Ramsay said in the latest vlog of Morly Alinio.
“Ang dami kong pinagdadaanan so pinili ko na lang kung ano ‘yung kailangan ko. Maging super strong para sa daddy ko, sa mommy ko. Life can just change overnight. I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with them and just enjoy," he added.

In the vlog, Ramsay said he is returning to acting after several years away following his marriage to Ellen Adarna.
"Talagang ayaw ko na (bumalik). Talagang nandoon na 'yung utak ko. I was very happy, six years," Ramsay said.
"Sabi ko naman sa inyo, kapag nagpakasal ako, 'yun na ang focus ko. Ganoon ako sa kahit anong bagay na gawin ko masaya ako roon talagang sobrang masaya ako. That was an easy decision. I mean mahal ko ang craft ko ko pero I was excited for this chapter of my life and super content na ako. And then, you know, like I said, life can change so quickly overnight na talagang I faced a very difficult storm, and then binigyan ako ni Lord ng blessing na isa pang project. I just took it as a sign that I should take it. So I said dito ko idi-diirect 'yung focus ko," Ramsay shared.
Ramsay will discuss his recent controversies in the second part of the vlog.
Adarna alleged in November last year that Ramsay had cheated on her.
