Kapamilya star Kim Chiu penned a heartfelt message for her niece, Raine, to mark her 17th birthday this week. In an Instagram post, the Alibi actress expressed how fast time flew by as she couldn’t believe that her niece is already 17 years old.
Raine has been one of the closest relatives to Kim as the actress has been helping in taking care of her since she was a baby. She is the daughter of Kim's sister, Twinkle.

The It’s Showtime host shared several photos of herself and her niece over the years which included an interview on Kris TV. She also showed the difference between Raine’s 10th and 17th birthday in the same post.
“Where did time go? 🥹 One blink and you’re 17, all grown, glowing, and becoming your own beautiful person. No matter how old you get, no matter how tall, stylish, aesthetic girly, matcha girly, or whatever new era you step into… you will always be my baby girl, Rainey,” she wrote.
Kim assured her niece that she will always be her “baby” even though she’s becoming a woman already. She maintained how proud she is of Raine and will always be right behind to support her.
“You’ll forever be my baby Lenlen — the one I watched grow, protected, and loved with my whole heart. I’m so proud of the woman you’re becoming, and I hope you always know that I’m right here, cheering you on, loving you endlessly,” she added.
“I love you more than words can ever say. Always and forever. 💖✨ #AuntieFeels like o m g,” she ended.

Fans of the Kapamilya actress made sure to greet her niece in the comment section. Other netizens shared how they’ve been a viewer of Kim’s vlogs and have seen the growth of Raine over the years.
Last year, Raine alongside Kim’s other niece, Liam, treated their "Mama Kim" to a birthday lunch using their own money which they saved up. She previously explained how this is their way of giving back to the Kapamilya actress who’s given them so much love over the years.
“We’re treating Mama Kim because she’s done a lot for us since bata pa kami. She's been there talaga for us. She also pays for a lot of stuff. For example, school. Like minsan pinapasyal kami kasi she really wants to spend time with us and then she sets time to spend time with us. We’re really thankful, and this is a way we show our thank you to her and we show our care,” Raine said.
