MANILA -- Heneral Luna just met Mr. President.
A new video by producer TBA Studios shows John Arcilla, known for his portrayal on film as General Antonio Luna, shaking the hand of actor Jericho Rosales.
The latter is the lead star of the much awaited historical biopic "Quezon" which chronicles the life of Manuel L. Quezon, the president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines.

"Quezon" marks the conclusion of TBA Studios' cinematic "Bayaniverse," a series of films based on Philippine history that includes box office hits "Heneral Luna," which stars Arcilla, and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral."
Under the direction of Jerrold Tarog, the movie "Quezon" follows the life of Quezon, a Filipino lawyer and soldier who became the president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.

Part of the cast are Mon Confiado (Emilio Aguinaldo), Benjamin Alves (younger Quezon), Romnick Sarmenta (Sergio Osmeña), JC Santos (Manuel Roxas), Karylle (Aurora Quezon), and Cris Villanueva (older Joven Hernando, the only fictional character in the film series).
Following its October 15 premiere in Philippine theaters, "Quezon" will also be released internationally.
