MANILA -- Quezon supporting Quezon.
TJ Trinidad surprised Jericho Rosales on the set of the upcoming historical biopic "Quezon," chronicling the life of Manuel L. Quezon, the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines.
Photos of Rosales and Trinidad were shared by TBA Studios via its social media post on Monday.
"Quezon supporting Quezon, served by two incredible talents @jerichorosalesofficial @tj_trinidad! (We miss you @benxalves!)
Huge thanks for your support, @tj_trinidad! It was such a treat to have you visit the set of #Quezon!" the caption read.
It will be recalled that Trinidad played the older Manuel L. Quezon in the movie "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral."
However, Trinidad has commitments outside showbiz such that he was not tapped to headline the much-awaited movie.
Last February, TBA announced that Rosales will play the titular role in "Quezon," which is set for a 2025 release.

"I feel so honored to be with this team. Coming to a script like this which is so potent and so entertaining, I feel so lucky and happy," Rosales said.
TBA also announced that "Game of Thrones" actor Iain Glen is joining the film.

"Quezon" marks the continuation of TBA Studios’ cinematic “Bayaniverse,” a series of films based on Philippine history that includes box office hits “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.”
The movie will follow the life of Quezon, a Filipino lawyer and soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944. It will highlight his tumultuous presidential campaign against then-President Emilio Aguinaldo.
Also part of the "Quezon" cast are Mon Confiado (Emilio Aguinaldo), Benjamin Alves (younger Quezon), Romnick Sarmenta (Sergio Osmeña), JC Santos (Manuel Roxas), Karylle (Aurora Quezon) and Cris Villanueva (older Joven Hernando, the only fictional character in the film series).
