Kapuso actress Shuvee Etrata has deactivated her X (formerly Twitter) account following the backlash she faced for her old video and posts. Eagle-eyed netizens spotted that the account of the former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate was no longer available earlier this week.
Shuvee’s previous posts and video resurfaced on social media earlier this month where she came to the defense of a politician.

Despite deactivating her account on X, Shuvee remains active on her other social media accounts such as Instagram. She recently posted a series of photos and assured her fans that everything will be alright.
“Padayon lang ta (Let’s just keep going),” she wrote.
Fans of the Kapuso star expressed their support in the comment section–– which has been limited to non-followers–– and shared how they still believe in her despite everything that’s happened.

“We love you, our Shuvee. Thank you for all your hard work. Know that in every step, we’re here for you. Hanggang dulo? PROMISE, HANGGANG DULO,” a fan wrote.
“Don't let the hate of darkness outshine your light! We love you shuveedo,” another fan added.
“Nothing wrong with the video. Personal opinions are, well, just like that - personal opinions,” a fan expressed.
Shuvee has since then apologized for her old video and shared that she will be continuing to learn from it as time goes on. She admitted how she didn’t want to talk about politics in her platform as it could create a division most especially during these times.
“I’m deeply grateful for the support many of you have shown. Bago lang po lahat to sa akin. Kaya pasensya na po sa lahat ng na-disappoint at nasaktan ko. I understand that what I said in the past caused hurt to some and I take responsibility for it,” she previously shared.
Previously, GMA Executive Annette Gozon Valdes threw her support towards the PBB housemate and asked netizens to respect each other’s opinion and unite towards the common goal of fighting the corrupt.
