MANILA -- Kapamilya actress Maris Racal turned a year older on Monday, September 22.
In her social media post, Racal, 28, shared her selfless and a meaningful birthday wish as she uploaded her birthday photos.
"It’s my birthday today. Ang wish ko lang ay DPWH. 🎂 Di Pwede ang Walang Hustisya," Racal caption her post.
On Sunday, September 21, Racal was among the celebrities who joined the protest in Luneta against the alleged massive corruption in the government.
Racal was one of the thousands of Filipinos who expressed anger and disgust over the alleged anomalies. The "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" actress demanded accountability to those involved in the alleged multi-trillion-peso corruption in anomalous flood-control and other infrastructure projects.
"Serbisyo sa tao, huwag gawing negosyo," she wrote in her Instagram post on Sunday.

Some of the celebrities who joined the nationwide protests on Sunday were Vice Ganda, Donny Pangilianan, Ion Perez, Hackie Gonzaga, Anne Curtis, and Jasmin Curtis-Smith.
Also spotted were Nadine Lustre, Maris Racal, Elijah Canlas, Andrea Brillantes, Angel Aquino, Gardo Versoza, Alex Medina, DJ Chacha, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Julia Barretto, Leon Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, Tessie Tomas, and Iza Calzado.
Beauty queens Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves were also present.
