Kapamilya actress Kiara Takahashi revealed that she and her partner, Benny Gunter, bought land in Japan. In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN earlier this week, the couple shared how their lives have changed as they are set to welcome their first born in the near future.
The two have been living in Japan for several years already–– with the Kapamilya actress going back and forth from Japan and the Philippines for her work. Benny, who plays professional Rugby and represents Japan in the sport, has been in the same region as Kiara’s family for a decade already.

Buying land in the same area where they met several years ago just made perfect sense according to them. Apart from revealing how they already had an envisioned how they’ll raise their firstborn, Kiara and Benny shared they wanted to build their “dream home” in Japan.
“We bought some land here out of all places–– where we both grew up and the first time we met. So at the moment, we’re looking at building our dream home here. It's not to say that we’re gonna be here forever. Especially when we have our son or daughter on the way, we want them to have a place to call home for their childhood,” Benny explained.
Kiara then shared that she’ll be completing her pregnancy journey in Japan because of her support system. Right now, the couple’s priority is shifted towards their firstborn and are doing their best to make sure they get to have a normal family.
“As of now, since my family is here–– my mom, my siblings, my titas–– and we live very close to them, we decided na I’ll stay here for the duration of my whole pregnancy because in the Philippines I’m by myself. It’s kind of hard to be pregnant and be by yourself but here I have a support system so that’s great,” Kiara expressed.
Kiara and Benny found out about her pregnancy back in the first week of April which the former happily shared that it was like their “anniversary gift” as they celebrated their first anniversary back in February.
Despite of having no plans of getting pregnant this year, the couple were already talking about it even before they decided they found the right person in each other.
“We came to a conclusion where we knew that we were gonna spend the rest of our lives together. It was more so the fact, it was not if, it was just when. We’re content to the point where if it happens, it happens but we still got planning to do,” Benny maintained.
Kiara announced her pregnancy to the public earlier this week to the delight of her friends and family. In the same interview, she shared that they went to the Philippines several weeks ago to share the update with her management, Star Magic.
