Pinoy Big Brother Otso alum Kiara Takahashi is now expecting her first child with partner Ben Gunter.
On her social media page, Kiara shared the exciting news along with a sweet and touching video of herself and professional rugby player Ben.
“Somewhere between our laughter and our dreams, you found us 🤍,” Kiara simply wrote in the caption.
The video opened with the couple reminiscing about how they started as friends.
“First we came here as friends then after we came back as partners and now we’re coming back here as a family,” Ben expressed. “I started with what’s gonna be my end in the Philippines.”
The clip then showed the couple walking hand in hand with their pet dog, followed by a joyful moment of them dancing in the middle of a forest trail.
“Remember what we always say? That kind of family that we don’t grow up in, the one we always wanted to be and hope for, now we have the chance to do it for ourselves,” Kiara shared.
The couple then revealed a sonogram photo of their child, gazing at it lovingly, with Kiara also cradling her baby bump.
Celebrity friends were quick to flood the comments section with congratulatory messages for the couple on their new journey together.

Adrian Lindayag also said, “I love you 😭😭😭😭😭😭 congratulations ben and kiaaaa 😭😭😭😭😭.”
Ben, in turn, expressed his gratitude in the comments: “Just want to say a big thank-you to everyone for wishing Kia and me the best. its such a beautiful feeling knowing that we have so much love and support from every ❤️🤙🏽.”
In February this year, Kiara went Instagram official with Ben by posting a video compilation celebrating their first year together.
“What a year with you looks like @benny_gunter ❤︎♡,” Kiana said to which Ben replied, “Your and only forever and more ❤️”
Kiara rose to fame as the sole survivor and Batch Winner from the second batch of adult housemates in Pinoy Big Brother Otso, eventually finishing as the season’s 2nd Big Placer.
She later marked her stage debut in Tabing Ilog The Musical, first portraying Eds and later stepping into the role of George for the show’s 2024 rerun.
“Being George in ‘Tabing Ilog The Musical’ Rerun is pure bliss,” Kiara said in an interview with Metro. “This musical is already so close to my heart as being part of the very first run before as Eds; now, George is a happy pill that Kiara needs. She is a believer in the saying that ‘what you give out to the universe will come back to you.’ And we both have that.”
In the same year, Kiara also joined the cast of One More Chance The Musical, playing the role of Tricia alongside CJ Navato, Sam Concepcion, Anna Luna, Nicole Omillo, and others. She also previously starred in Kapamilya series Mars Ravelo's Darna.
